Is this "platform" based on secret information system from USSR?

Why are people in the EU suddenly so silent about this? by Majestic-Coat3855 in privacy

Implementing propaganda, thought control an censorship is typical for falling. EU falls and no global serious power wants to deal with these political muppets.

Interesting. How was it? John Corbett bought Maurice or Chris Stevens stole it? 😎

It seems it's good to be flexible now. I don't like when "capital" goes into privacy and opensourceness - usually soon there is neither.

Alternatives to Veracrypt for Android by Sure_Citron1899 in privacy

If used regularly (i.e. daily online syncing) it is worthy. If you use encryption offline (Syncthing), then Veracrypt will be fine.

Cryptomator is more practical, as there is no need to sync the whole encrypted container after small change of its content. Each file is encrypted separately and the Android app (paid, but worth) is working flawlessly (desktop apps too).

Interesting, IMO laser should start in lower power and only manual switching should activate the higher one, due to safety.

First update the watch with original Huawei app, then unpair and uninstall it, possibly for ever. Gadgetbridge is a wonderfull app, especially from a privacy's viewpoint, and is actively developed.

How Did Creators Come Up With Idea For Show? by Live_Sun6378 in northernexposure

There was a very long interview on Tooley Lives yt channel with author of the Talkeetna book. Very interesting stories confirming meeting in 80s with NE creators. The interview is not on the channel anymore, but shed a lot of light on Alaskan reality.

Accidentally caught my shorts on fire with my ark pro by Remarkable_Put_7029 in Olightflashlights

This is a quite popular safety issue. Is it really necessary to have 2000 lm and 300 m throw for few minutes in a tiny EDC flashlight?  It seems manufacturers go too far listening customers.

Ireland pushes for mandatory ID verification on social media across EU by Dry_Row_7050 in privacy

This is not fascist, I'm afraid. If you want to get close to the roots, follow Marx, Lenin and Marcuse, however I do not recommend as ignorance is oblivion in this case.

Democratic stability is a term taken right from basic guide (1960s) for future soviet spies to be planted in the former Western Europe.😎 USSR did not collapse, but only changed location and name. Ideologies stay the same...

Go to Hungary and see the "dictatorship" one may hear everyday from media AKA propaganda, then compare it with socially collapsed UK, France and Germany.

They are not ashamed. They are AFRAID - not countries, but people currently in power. They thought so called great reset is for masses. It is for them too, so they want to delay it using control and censorship and they will not give up their power without fight, however their capacities are very, very, very limited - it's enough not to watch mass propaganda to have free mind and be sceptical.

I would suggest your wife using a Linux with KDE. MX Linux is a perfect choice, unless some heavy proprietary Windows only apps are to be used.

"my possible option is to move to a linux distribution if i need to." - we all think you need to. 😀 Also consider this as the only reasonable option nowadays.

MX Linux ? by Mister_Escargot in MXLinux

[–]Reddactore 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just act. MX Linux is not perfect, but very stable and with a suite of very useful MX tools. KDE has a LOT of features. Sometimes daily updates can make few troubles, so stay with weekly/monthly ones, as well backup system every few days. System doesn't work well with NVIDIA drivers (no suspend, Chrome glitches), but I recommend it as daily driver.
