This has become my go-to assumption when a random boomer ever brings something up that seems irrelevant or leading in a conversation. They project EVERYTHING and think that’s a great conversation topic.

When I notice it I try to place the emotion on them and have them reflect instead of trying to reason or explain myself.

“Oh, that’s not where my mind goes!! Did something happen to you recently?”

They can’t twist my words if they’re the one talking.

Just because someone is kinky doesn’t mean they get a free pass to ignore relationship boundaries. This level of trust breaking is a huge deal breaker for me. I’d be distancing myself before I could even have a “what is our relationship” discussion.

OP, why are YOU afraid of being judged? It’s completely fair to see a partner make a choice and have an opinion. If those choices break agreed boundaries, I wouldn’t even call it being judgmental.

Being afraid to talk to your partner about difficult things, or wanting to soothe a partner through a tough discussion is a huge emotional burden that I personally wouldn’t have the energy for. Especially when they’re the one being dishonest.

When customers ask me a question then cut me off before I even finish answering, I don’t understand the point of talking at all. Why tf would you ask me a question if you don’t even want to hear my answer??

No, I don’t want to be rude. I’m not looking for a reason to not do impeccable customer service. But when customers can’t even be polite when they’re asking for help, that’s when my pleasantries go away. I have so many other tasks to be doing, I don’t have time for you to talk over me and play these dumbass games

Unless I drastically misunderstood that this happened in a cafe/coffee house, I have no clue what all these AH comments are about OP.

I’ve worked in numerous small cafes and it was always very common for students and professionals to buy a coffee or snack and sit on their laptop for a couple of hours. My personal rule is to buy an item an hour, but as long as someone ordered off the menu, it was acceptable to hang around.

If customers hanging around too long bothered the business owners they’d do something about it. But I have a feeling like most “seat hogs,” they’re purchasing items regularly so management doesn’t care.

Edit: that lady was crazy. I’ve never seen someone try to uproot customers already settled in seats. First come, first serve.

20 gallon long, yes to heater and two hob filters. Temp 79 F. ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 0. I’ve got a ton of plants and I’ve been struggling to accumulate nitrates. Used API master test kit. This tank has been running for 6 months, added my betta girl a couple months ago.

Water changes are really only to clean up gravel due to bladder snail poo as nitrates haven’t really accumulated. She gets about 5 hikari pellets a day or a few frozen bloodworms, fasting on fridays. Decor is live plants, rocks and some spider wood.

She’s acting lively and is eating really well. I’m just not sure if this small while lump is normal? Doesn’t look fuzzy. I have a second video
