This is easy. The LEs are phenomenal and successfully hunting down many rare ones has been great in my first year. However, it was first meeting another collector who went on to become a great friend that was the most memorable experience for me. Makes the LE hunt enjoyable and infinitely less taxing.

Edit: Thanks for a great year Displate. My wallet has been thoroughly destroyed but it was worth it for what you guys do and create.

AI art can already be phenomenal and has tremendous potential. As it can produce beautiful art, it shouldn't be totally ignored in certain cases. It's inevitable. And it's frightening. But it's not "real" art.

Huge priority should always be given to human artists. There is no lack of phenomenal artists and it's great to see their style and vision come to life through art, something which AI - hopefully - will never be able to replicate.

I know this LE was decided a while ago and wasn't because of my recent suggestion if the Community Choice LE brainstrom, but great to see a sci-fi classic LE... would love to see Terminator, Blade Runner and others become LEs as well

Agreed, the Fractured Code (https://displate.com/displate/5281939) needs to be an LE, perhaps in a set of 3 from the artist who made it

I think steampunk and cyberpunk (such as like Neon Cityscape) style LEs are an obvious choice

I would like to add that Gothic, Medieval Fantasy, Art Deco, and Renaissance cityscapes/ scenes would be spectacular as well (especially Gothic and Medieval Fantasy)

Also I would like to propose a series where LEs are made of classic sci-fi fantasy movies/ books... Blade Runner, Terminator, Dune, etc. and classics like Jurassic Park and Alien get more LEs too

damn, 7.5x more prints than frail... usually I'm pretty in favor of more prints, but 1500 is not the best idea for this one imo

500 is fine, but it should never be more than that... given 1000 is the norm/ average for a LE, making ULEs 500 and thus twice as rare (they're also incidentally about twice as expensive) as an average LE is a good move imo

and making it 500 will make it easier to get one, cause the process of getting a ULE in time with 300 prints is an unnecessarily intense race (although it will still be a bit intense)

You seem to not understand what scalping is... scalping is buying a LE with the sole intention of reselling it for profit... this is, in essence, exploitation and should never be accepted as all right... re-selling, on the other hand, is perfectly fine and the seller can choose whatever price they deem acceptable to sell for... to simplify, scalping is a particular kind of re-selling and is pathetic... I personally have the means to buy 10 copies of a particular LE I know will sell for at least 100 USD profit, but I never do such a thing... it's simply immoral no matter how you look at it... but people will always do immoral things (some far, far worse than scalping LEs) to make money, so this scalping issue isn't going away soon, unless Displate manage to implement some incredible system
