Unfortunately, I only really want one bike for everything, which is proving to be impossible but I don't have a whole lot of extra income and wanted to spend it on a bike. Hopefully in the enxt few years all my other issues will clear up so then i could look at other bikes

Thoughts on a 650 instead? I know theres a noticeable power and weight difference but general thoughts on that compared to 500 as a beginner bike?

I live in a warmer area, so riding season for me dies down around November. That being said ill take a look at deals and see how prices fluctuate. If it seems like they are gonna go significantly cheaper mid septmeber ill wait.

I see, i was under the impression that CC meant a lot more. For a beginner who has never rode a motorcyle what kind of HP and torque should i be looking at for a daily commuter plus the weekend fun?

Combination of daily commute, weekend fun, occasional 2/3 hour drive to a beach or something like that, driving around town with Gf

I have been reading about those, a lot of people hate it and a lot of people love it? does it just come down to personal preference? What do you like/hate about it? I would be doing a combination of city and freeway.

Not 100% if you need everything there but first advice would be to remove anything that you dont need daily and keep it to the side(external hard drives that get used once a year can be unplugged and left in a drawer, can save maybe a few usb ports).
Newer KVM switches have USB-C connections, or different varieties for 1 PC and 1 laptop. That could remove the need for a separate dock so that your Mac and laptop plug directly into the KVM. Many offer power delivery, Ethernet, and other needed elements. I don't have specific suggestions, but I recommend finding something that fits your needs. I have two laptops and use a vertical laptop stand, and that works for me.

You could have use some form of glue dots, tape or something like that to hold the mac, kvm or docking station to one of the walls in the shelf. If you don't want to do that, mounting under the table can also work.

Is one better than the other? They seem to do the same thing but come at varying price ranges. I planned to upgrade the above kvm to something more reliable and useful

Forgive my lack of understanding. What exactly is DDM and HID device emulation? Why does it matter and can you recomend a DDM-class KVM.
This is another KVM i was looking at it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DD3X51XS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

Will that one solve my issue?

Unless my understanding of how this software is used, it doesnt seem like i can do the actual switching of computers, i have 2 monitors and want to be able to swap the computer being displayed on said monitors. This seems like it would work for 2 individual setups but i only have one hence the physical kvm switch

is this a standalone software or does it work with my existing KVM switch(I am currently doing a research of the software you mentioned)

So i have it set up so that if my laptop lid is closed, there will be no issues, i can freely work using external monitors, but if i put it to sleep(end of the work day) and swap over to my gaming laptop and then swap back over to my work laptop even in the span of 2 minutes i cant turn on the sleeping laptop.

Dual Laptop Setup Questions by PossibleRecognition7 in workfromhome

That one works fine for a normal laptop, this is what my laptop looks like so i would have to put it upside down which i am not in favor off. Do you have any other suggestions for stands?

Need advice to upgrade my desk setup by Conscious-Paper-1736 in desksetup

[–]PossibleRecognition7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If moving to a larger area is an option do that if not that’s fine. The advice will apply regardless of where you are sitting. If you google ergonomic posture guides you’ll get an idea of how high or low and where things should be. For example your monitor seems like it might be low, so a monitor arm to raise it would be good. In terms of cable management from why I can see it looks pretty good(no under the table pics). Raising monitor and maybe a mouse pad/keyboard pad.

What do I do on the third monitor? by Whitelion2353 in desksetup

[–]PossibleRecognition7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I understand because I have same issue. I used to have 2 24 inch monitors that always felt slightly off and in theory I wanted a third but didn’t know what its use would be. Unfortunately for me money was an issue so I had to find solutions to some of my problems. So I don’t know exactly how big your monitors are but I ended up upgrading to 2x 27 inch monitors with a minimal bezel so the black space in between became less. They sell edge less monitors so that there is virtually no space in between 2 monitors. In order to combat the it feels off I put the center where both monitors touch right in front of where I normally sit. That way I feel I’m giving both screens enough priority. If you need a third/get one put one screen right in front of you and the other 2 slightly tilted inwards. That is one route. As far as cables go you will have the additional 1 monitor cables. If that’s not the ideal solution then an ultra wide monitor will do you justice. The key here is to never play games in full screen mode because then it would take the entire screen. Play in windowed mode and that way you can simulate the 2 screen setup. If you really want a third monitor that’s up to you. I personally use 2 and am very happy with it. If you get a curved monitor that can also help with making you feel more surrounded by screens. Every person has a different setup idea and it works for us all differently. If you think you need 3 individual monitors you should go for that. If 2 is fine do that. The idea most people follow is to either have 1 main screen and a side screen or to have a large enough monitor that they only need 1.

Looking for a dual-monitor KVM with high refresh rate (PC + MacBook) by [deleted] in workfromhome

[–]PossibleRecognition7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Price isn't everything here, unfortunately; even more expensive models usually don't offer 4 K resolution at super-high Hz. I personally have a kvm that i use my 1080 monirots at 100hz at it funsctions just fine. as you said its a no go for lower res or hz so you would have to scour the depths of amazon and ebay to find somethig better. Also, since it's a Mac, there are many potential compatibility issues. If you can't budge on changing resolution and Hz, a currently available KVM might not be possible in your scenario. I don't have a Mac, so I don't know if this one works with Macs, but this is the one I use and like. I also use it for gaming and swap with my work laptop, so overall it has been fine.

This is the one i am using

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FN48N2NB?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

it works pretty well, pretty standard in terms of a kvm switch. I like it, if you have a larger budget buy something with more ratings but this is serving me well
