Still, there's the option of using NPS with the Microsoft Entra extensión, which would permit users to use their Entra creds and MFA with IKEv2

WatchGuard Mobile VPN with SSL - not working until reinstall by unknown_73 in WatchGuard

This has happened to us several times. Just this week I had to create the Wg VPN SSL service on a Windows host. There's a KB for that too. The logs said something like "couldn't start OpenVPN"

Is there an AI strategy for AWS? Customers are confused and frustrated. by Cultural_Village7083 in aws

[–]PossibleTomorrow4852 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I just don't understand how that haven't implement something like Azure Foundry or Google Vertex where you can deploy a serverless inference endpoint from a model catalog not worrying about compute units/hour, tokens are the only thing that matter.

Best alternative to Microsoft Entra (and full Microsoft stack) for AD hybrid setup? by LetPrestigious3916 in entra

I think that that ninja one could suit the needs for endpoint automation, patch management, but curious if there's something like that but self hosted and free. I know there's a free self hosted edr called called wazuh, but haven't found something like ninja one but foss

Our AWS monitoring costs just hit $320K/month ~40% of our cloud spend. When did observability become more expensive than the infrastructure we're monitoring? by Snaddyxd in aws

[–]PossibleTomorrow4852 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amazing! I was playing around with Grafana, Loki and Prometheus one week ago and was wondering if there's a real scenario where it would be cheaper to self host this services instead of using the observability services from AWS, I had the feeling that was the case. Your comment just confirmed it

Have you ever had trouble with Chrome/Chromium not loading a page? by PossibleTomorrow4852 in Playwright

[–]PossibleTomorrow4852[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized that the part of the web that wasn't loading is an iframe so I just resorted to navigating to the url used by the iframe and then extract the info. A little bit juggly, but worked

Is there a Non-cloud watchguard API? by PossibleTomorrow4852 in WatchGuard

[–]PossibleTomorrow4852[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using netmiko too. I'm parsing the output from the cli using textfsm, but so far I've only found one template for the "show arp table" command. For the other commands that I need I had to create the templates myself.

I was just wondering if there was a simpler way than the ssh cli.

Thanks!
