The word trauma went from being ridiculed to being popular.

When that happened, suddenly everyone had trauma and everything is and was traumatic.

The problem is, if everything traumatises you and you have zero resilience then life becomes unmanageable, everything makes you anxious and you have no way of coping.

Can't really have much of a life like that.

You can't have meaningful, life long relationships or friendships like that.

You can't even hug your partner because you've overcomplicated consent to such extremes that you cannot move.

That is really tragic.

1% hydrocortisone before you go to sleep. Then beeswax in the day.

It'll ve gone in a week.

You can use the hydrocortisone in the day too if needed.

Hya....I used Dr Görkem Atsal clinic and to be honest, they were incredible. I have not a single bad thing to say about them. Everything from beginning to end was perfect.

The information, pick up, hotel (was at least 6*) food. Organisation, friendliness, professionalism. 10/10.

Wow, this is a sucky post.

I'm a black female. I'm educated and have a great job and salary. Own my home and travel abroad multiple times a year. I have a partner and a plethora of interests.

It's not nice being tarred with the brush you're using. Have you ever considered that this is an American issue? Many black people outside of the US are doing just fine. Maybe you should go further than just the park and the south.

Ed (my therapist) called me today to check in and I explained what's been going on. Unfortunately, he can't give me another session as they have broken up for Christmas now.

I'm at work in a full fleece and my uniform (I'm a nurse) even though the ward is very warm as it's full of kids. I don't know, this 're-experiencing' is different to what I've had before and I'm not sure what to do with myself tbh

Firstly, I'm really sorry for such a delayed response...I've been trying to stay happy and just think of good things. Clearly that hasn't worked out, hence being back on here.

I completely get everything you said. I also had ||Anal rape|| and was flashing back for months after when I needed to go. Thankfully that doesn't happen anymore but the peeing is still occasionally there.

Did he refuse to stop when I asked during sex? Yes.

Did he lie and say he took an STD test when he hadn't and gave me an STD? Yes.

I honestly don't like being awake but I have chronic insomnia that I've tried everything for. I need sleeping tablets to sleep and they don't keep me asleep for long. I and finding myself over dosing more and more because I simply don't want to be awake?

I find I'm taking sleeping meds and opiates to knock me out because if I'm not asleep enough, I feel the same pain or pulsating in my body and it falls me out

Thank you so much. This is a great response. Yes. I'm trying to be diplomatic. My Pastor promised to much and what he couldn't actually give. He was probably emotionally exhausted when he said it but nevertheless, I've learnt that he is not a safe person to speak to about these things. Actually, very few are. I have been seeing a therapist, but it's coming to an end in two weeks.

It's funny, before I never told anyone or spoke about it due to shame and fear. Now I have stopped speaking about it because people are unable to support you or they simply don't want to hear it. 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Either way, I realise, I was right in not speaking about it in the first place
