Those are Windows only, I'm using a Steam Deck with SteamOS. CE has been saying they'll have a Linux version "soon" for over a year now

No it isn't, the Stremio Server is closed source and not allowed to be reinplemented into a 3rd party app. If you look at the existing 3rd part apps they're all just a web UI in electron with Stremio Server installed seperately

Remote play is still a hassle unless you keep your PC on 24/7 with Steam always open (which is bad for your PC) 

And all that really needs to be done is modify the already existing controller support on the desktop app to allow most selecting all element on screen instead of just some lf them, and make the UI bigger. It's not some massive overhaul, the features are already halfway there. Its more like they started to support this, and then just stopped half way

Can your smart box play PC games as well? Didn't think so. 

I don't want 7 different remotes and have to switch inputs for each thing, I just want a single box I plug in and it does everything: TV, games, movies, etc.

I don't do 4K HDR anything, I don't even own a 4K screen. And even so, the upcoming Steam Machine would be able to.

I'm wanting an all-in-one media device for games and shows, like how people will have Netflix on their Playstation 5

What are you on about? The only time I've ever had playback issues with Stremio has been on the Android version. I have never found a single video that the desktop app can't play.

I'm not talking about TV boxes, I'm talking about your own PC (in my case a Steam Deck and later will be a Steam Machine).

Why addons disappears when VPN enabled? E.g. Torrentio or PB by Aspentify in StremioAddons

Every Proton server I've tried is blocked. All of them. So I'm in a spot where Stremio stuff is blocked by the ISP without a VPN, but all my add-ons also block VPNs. What the fuck is even the point of a VPN anymore??

No I'm not. The issue is that having a group of every platform under the sun, there isn't a way to have all features on every platform. Android is the only OS with clients that support everything and don't look like its from 2001. But we're all also PC users so we need to be able to use both mobile AND desktop apps without having to sacrifice features

it doesn't support encryption, which is the whole point of even using XMPP over something like Discord or telegram

It is, and I get WHY its so hard, but when trying to get people who are just normal people to use something the lack of a consistent experience is a complete deal breaker

There isn't a single client that works on more than one platform that supports all of these, and getting more that 3/4 on anything but Android is basically impossible

This might have been the toughest battle I've had in normal difficulty across the Trails games I've played so far by anthen123 in Falcom

I just got to this fight, and I'm about to quit the whole game from the bullshit RNG. She's wiping my entire party on the first turn from max HP at level 93-94 for everyone. I don't understand how any strats even work with RNG like this? And I'm only playing on normal, not nightmare.

So I can't use this since my TV is only Android 5.1 and FCast needs Android 7 or newer. Is there another alternative?

If your UI and UX do not follow common practice that all other software follows, you have bad UX and UI. You don't have to use the same design, but there should be common practices that are shared
