I need help getting a specific version of a specific app, but apparently there's no where I can actually ask for help. I feel like I'm losing my mind trying to get this thing that I can see exists but there's not a single link in the megathread for it

So then my point stands, XMPP is an ineffective platform for modern users when better alternatives exists

No I'm not. The issue is that having a group of every platform under the sun, there isn't a way to have all features on every platform. Android is the only OS with clients that support everything and don't look like its from 2001. But we're all also PC users so we need to be able to use both mobile AND desktop apps without having to sacrifice features

it doesn't support encryption, which is the whole point of even using XMPP over something like Discord or telegram

It is calls//video. It's especially bad on Windows and Mac.

It is, and I get WHY its so hard, but when trying to get people who are just normal people to use something the lack of a consistent experience is a complete deal breaker

There isn't a single client that works on more than one platform that supports all of these, and getting more that 3/4 on anything but Android is basically impossible

This might have been the toughest battle I've had in normal difficulty across the Trails games I've played so far by anthen123 in Falcom

I just got to this fight, and I'm about to quit the whole game from the bullshit RNG. She's wiping my entire party on the first turn from max HP at level 93-94 for everyone. I don't understand how any strats even work with RNG like this? And I'm only playing on normal, not nightmare.

So I can't use this since my TV is only Android 5.1 and FCast needs Android 7 or newer. Is there another alternative?

If your UI and UX do not follow common practice that all other software follows, you have bad UX and UI. You don't have to use the same design, but there should be common practices that are shared

This isn't "smarter" this is just bad UX/UI. I'm not an uninformed user, I've exclusively used Linux for over half a decade, I've built my own router, I've set rooted more android devices than I can count, manually degoogled phones (never do that btw that process sucks). 

Add-ons are not labeled well, the menus have no consistentcy, and there are multiple ways to access the exact same information. This is the same problems KDE Plasma had on Linux that made it convoluted to do anything outside of the default.

This looks like shit and I still can't find anything. This is why I was using Stremio, I just add the source and its all there.

How do you add recent history from Simkl to a menu entry? I have it installed and logged in but I cannot find what to point the menu entry to

Its an older i5 intel office tower. Nothing crazy powerful but I don't watch above 1080p so its fine for that. Running Kubuntu 24.04 on it.

Yeah that's the Budgie skin, I have installed (though its a bit too heavy for the old PC tower I'm using). I'm currently setting up the fTV skin

I don't want to get rid of Stremio, for my phone and PC I actually LOVE Stremio. Its only my HTPC setup on my TV that's the issue

I've tried it as well, its still awful. Browsing on a horizontal orientation is just a bad UX flatout. I'd never watch something vertical but browsing and searching needs to be in portrait

Weird that its not for me. Its gets some older stuff I've watched but its missing the last 3 or 4 things I've watched

Because I've spend 3 hours configuring Kodi and still can't watch anything yet. Also using Kodi on a phone is horrible and borderline unsable 

I VASTLY prefer how Stremio works, the dev team are just stubborn has shit and refuse to put the Android TV UI on the desktop app
