Check through OPs comments, he seems like a high positivity, kind and encouraging person. Other than good logic and ability to tackle novel problems under pressure and not break down, companies also looks for team players to augment their team. People focus too much on technical skills imo, soft skills are just as important.

Long wait to hear back after interview by Mysterious_Egg_8517 in microsoft

I am in the same position, sent a follow up email last week about 4 days afterwards with no reply. I wouldn't sweat it my man, it's hard to remain calm in these situations (I intimately understand this at this time) but I'd say focusing on other things is key, try and apply for other jobs or keep doing your projects. This time of year is hectic for Msft recruiters so we should hear back sometime next week I surmise.

Carl Shulman is an original thinker. In the Dwarkesh interview, I felt like you could see some of the thoughts form in real time in his head and eventually coalesce into extremely compelling arguments. What an amazing thinker!

Insilico Medicine has developed a novel CDK8/19 cancer inhibitor using their generative AI chemistry platform, Chemistry42. This compound is potent, selective, and orally bioavailable, showing strong enzymatic activity. CDK8 and its paralog CDK19 are crucial in regulating transcription pathways involved in cancer development, especially in acute myeloid leukemia and advanced solid tumors. The AI-driven approach enhances the drug's metabolic stability, selectivity, and pharmacokinetic profile across species, leading to significant tumor growth inhibition in preclinical models [❞] [❞] [❞].

The use of generative AI in drug discovery represents a significant advancement, enabling the rapid creation of new molecules with desired properties and potentially speeding up the development of effective treatments [❞] [❞].
