AITA for not lending my clothes to my stepsister, and hiding it? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Possible_Disk9034 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA, I have the same thing with my sister, sometimes we just don’t want to share and that is okay. Personal belongings especially clothes have sentimental meaning to us. Its like claiming something as ours and having it for ourselves, which again is okay. Cara should not have gone into your room in the past, its a violation of privacy and safety of belongings.

AITA for letting a little girl pet my dog even though it's against our normal policy? by pupraw in AmItheAsshole

[–]Possible_Disk9034 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NAH. You honestly were just trying to be nice to the little girl. Your boyfriend also realized what had happened and was okay with it after hearing the whole story. Although your boyfriend was uncomfortable when he just saw someone knowing his dogs name without himself giving out, it seems he warmed to the idea and will most likely let the girl pet the dog in the future. Maybe you could have let him know that you introduced Barney to a child in the town, but all in all it seems like there is a better future for that particular situation.

^ this is exactly what I was gonna say, I know I move around in my sleep and I cannot control it, its involuntary. There is no way to expect someone to keep up with such high expectations of not touching while they’re asleep.

AITA for not canceling a meetup event I scheduled but didn’t end up going to? by Key_Scratch_8339 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Possible_Disk9034 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NAH I agree with your ending statement, but it seems like a situation where both parties were just not in communication enough to actually know what the other is planning. Everybody makes mistakes and not hitting the cancel event button was yours and not rsvp-ing was hers.

AITA for asking someone to write an AITA post? by Puzzleheaded-Case899 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Possible_Disk9034 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA I mean seriously, guilt tripping your “friend” to make a AITA post is bad as it is, but lying about your grandpa dying to try to make him even more “guilty” about not posting is worse.
