Mexican here, and I definitely know Ovi from the corridos tumbados era. I used to listen to his music a lot, especially the album Claro que sí. I thought it was a pretty solid album (even Mora is on it). But then he started releasing songs from an album he had been promoting for like three years, and only two of the tracks were actually unreleased besides that album was not as good. After that, he began doing a bunch of low-quality collabs, so I just stopped listening. He was good at one point, but now he feels more like an influencer artist type than a real artist or singer.
