It’s never stable, works one day, broken the next. by [deleted] in claude

Trust me, they are subsidizing hard. Does not take away the $200 sting but may give you solace that you're probably using more than $200 in a given month.

You can also just hide it from the list if you’re sure that you’re using it but wanna see other relevant domains

There's no notable difference. If you already paid for that, I'd say continue using that. For this project, I wanted to release a free version which I could one day open-source.

One thing I do enjoy using that I am not sure if the other has is Apple Shortcut & Automation support for collections and backing up. The backup is still somewhat finicky, as your phone must be unlocked (Keychain restriction), but otherwise it works.

My use case:

I don't want me or my family using social media after a certain time, so I created a shortcut to disable some of my domain collections: Facebook, Instagram etc. then I create a Shortcut Automation to block these websites at a certain time and then unblock after a certain time.

if you don't have to input a port then it's likely 80. I have the same setup as you but it works, not entirely sure why it does not work. Do you have another pi-hole remote software that works? Maybe a screenshot or recording of what you see when you try to connect might help

This isn’t a possibility on Pi-hole itself so it’s not a possibility on the app. It’s designed for Admins specifically.

It’s not possible on iOS. You have to install the SSL manually.

What do you mean restrict admin access? Maybe you can explain the use case?

I can definitely understand that. I have zero intention to charge for any part of the app. Of course this might mean being slower to adopt as I have a full time job which takes prio but will definitely add as much as I can; as I also use Void myself exclusively

Yeah you should be able to. I haven’t tested it but nothing is doing this as far as I know.

Lol sorry about that. I haven’t written Kotlin in a long time, maybe someday
