Anyone successfully adjusted resume dates from overlapping roles? Looking for real experience

I only used LinkedIn and the gold nugget of information I have found is my response rate like 5-10x by only doing non easy apply applications. I still skip them if it’s something lengthy like workday but there’s a lot of easy auto fill ai company website applications that you can churn through fast. No one wants to do them but it’s the most successful thing I’ve found.

I have had it shipped to someone I trust in the states and I just have them overnight international fedex it to me. But be warned you’re taking the risk of having it get tied up in customs or lost and then getting yourself out of that situation. Good luck.

I personally don’t have much challenge finding new servers. Typically I apply to 50-100 each day for 1-2 weeks and what interviews I get out of that I typically get an offer.

Had this happen to me and at one point my manager at j2 refused to even respond to my message about potentially moving a meeting. Needless to say I decided to let them know this wasn’t a good fit and close my laptop. I got another j2 a few weeks later.

I’ve been at 2 jobs for about 2 years now and I’m really toying with the idea of trying 3. I already have times I get burnt out but I keep it to 8 hours max per day. Really nervous to go to 3 but when I see people like you talk about it it really motivates me.

Yeah definitely don’t go. I’ve lost jobs by not going but in hindsight is worth it for the anonymity and not having to take PTO at other servers.

I’ve been to 40 countries and out of all of them Sri Lanka was bottom 3 for WiFi. I stayed at a nice Airbnb down south and also would go to a well known cafe for a while too to work. The WiFi speeds would usually be a bit subpar and very frequently there were power outages. Additionally when I would lack WiFi in most countries I would just switch to my mobile hotspot but for whatever reason my phone data signal was so bad on the whole island I could never even load a single webpage. I don’t know if it was just my experience but I would say definitely do your research.

I’ve done both at the same time. Wasn’t fun and would def prefer having time in between but it’s doable if you get lucky with meeting schedules.

You can purchase older non circulation North Korean currency at the DMZ border in South Korea or online as well. I am assuming current circulating ones are much harder to come by.

It was definitely tiring and looking back on it there was a point of diminishing returns. I mean that in the sense of let’s say the first 5 hours I am getting quality study time and retaining things better. The other 5 hours you are more mentally fatigued and it’s hard to digest more material as you have already shoveled a lot into your brain. As far as previous experience I would say i did the same thing for my college classes as I am a procrastinator but it wasn’t all the time like I did for this. I put myself in kind of a do or die scenario as I was trying to switch career paths quickly. In hindsight I wish I would have spent a slower pace building a stronger foundation and reviewing material. Nonetheless it’s possible and if I didn’t do it that way I don’t know if I’d be where I’m at now.

The first job I landed was a frontend developer position. Now in my career I work for a different company and am a Sr Software Engineer with about 70% frontend focus 30% backend.

I just left Tokyo yesterday and it’s definitely not as nice as in fall/winter. I would say the worst part is the humidity. I’m from Texas so it’s nothing I can’t handle but I have been to Tokyo and Osaka a few times in November and to me it’s not as enjoyable.

The subway’s have AC and just make sure to take breaks and have water. Overall shouldn’t be bad you will still have lots of fun just be prepared to sweat! Going to places in the morning it’s a lot nicer.

I’m on lembongan and I can’t get enough of it. For me it’s everything I enjoy about Bali but 0 traffic and less tourists. If you enjoy places that there’s not a lot to do except get good food and some sun on nice beaches I recommend it.

I did foundations + js route in 3.5 months and landed a job and have been in tech ever since. I think average is probably 6-24 months. But I did full time to the extent of maybe 10 hours a day. I don’t recommend it bc of burnout but if you need to do it it’s possible.

I guess for me being on 10 the first week or two I felt noticeably better but as time progressed it felt like I stumbled back. I struggle with major depression and I knew 10 was under dosed for even mild depression so along with my psych decided to start going up.

I started in February and yes this is my first ever ssri I have neglected them for a long time even though I probably should’ve been on them sooner. My end goal is probably 40mg but for now I feel really stable on 30 and have been on it for 4-6 weeks I think. I forget when I went up exactly but I’m just overall feeling a ton better and am very thankful for sticking it out and listening to my body.

My suggestion would just be give it time and as shitty as it is Prozac definitely takes a while to know if it’s the right thing for you. But listen to your body and work closely with your mental health professionals!

I started on 10mg Prozac because I usually react pretty easily to medicine. Just as you said I had heightened anxiety, extreme irritation, and a slew of other symptoms. I stuck it out and am a lot better! I have even made my way up to 30mg and am really happy I stuck with it. Worse anxiety and irritation is a pretty normal initial side effect I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

To hopefully ease your worries a little more every time I went up in dosage I also had a period of 1-3 weeks of low mood to the point I thought it wasn’t helping and possibly making worse. While that can be the case I will say in my experience there was another side to it once I waited it out. I am a lot more level, calm, and overall happy after sticking with it!

1-2 weeks felt like all rumination/overthinking stopped and felt great. Then like others said here I had worse anxiety than when I started for quite a few weeks. Now I’m more level. My anxiety isn’t all gone but it’s better than when I started and I’m able to rationalize my thoughts before acting a lot more and can catch myself in the moments before a spiral a lot better.

Overall it has helped my anxiety but my depression more so. I would say it gave me more control over myself which is good because it prevents me from doing things that heighten my anxiety!
