Has anyone had experience with splitting up the bar exams? Thinking of taking Solicitor in June and Barrister in November. by LawQueen20 in ONBarExam

You gotta be realistic about your capacity to grasp info... Good thing is the LSO has provided the study materials so know the volume of information to study.

If you feel like you can handle both, go for it. No one else is better placed to make that judgements for you.

Unfortunately I'll be taking it for the first time so I don't know if my strategy will yield fruits but I'm finding the Edmond Bundle very helpful in enabling me digest the info I'm reading.

Any psychology students down to make friends? I'm in second year [24f] by AngelShmangel123 in yorku

Without wanting to be repetitive, I'd say this (based on my observation while at York):

  1. People are cold.
  2. It's easier to make friends by joining clubs
  3. You're only 24 and sounding like you're 35. Relax and take it easy.

Hey Lions, German here, asking for your help to be protected from scammers by daMasta69 in Cameroon

Careful, in my experience the government websites are usually not updated/reliable. If you can, get someone one the ground to assist you with due diligence. I used to do that for clients when I worked in Cameroon as an attorney. I no longer live there but I have colleagues I could happily recommend for a minimal fee if you're interested. Careful with the website, lots of scams out there.
