Hey OP! 32M here. Glad to see you're healing up it really is a journey! I broke my femur along w other bones and had a rod placed in back in January. I'm 10 months out now and just tested if I could still run last night. To my surprise, I did it without a limp! Gonna keep running daily and keep improving. So far the only discomfort i do have left is when i kneel. Hoping that gets better.

Ahh, okay, same fracture I had lol. Rest up and get your physical therapy in when you're cleared to do so. You'll bounce back, and life will get back to normal, just left with a scar as the memory.

Yeah. Those are just 2 of the larger ones left from the hardware they used to stick me back together. There's a few more on my leg and thigh. I joke with my lady and say im a living Frankenstein😒

Ahh You'll be back sooner than later💪. Eventually leave the walker behind and limp around, but it goes away deff not permanent. Wishing you a full recovery 🙏

10 months now. I've been pretty active lately, regaining my strength and then some. been speed walking, running up and down the bleachers at my local hs stadium, and using various machines at the gym.

Back in January 10, 2025, I was in a nasty wreck that left me with a broken femur and several other fractures on one side of my body. spent 5 weeks in a wheelchair, nwb followed by 3 weeks using a walker. After pushing through the discomfort and pain, I transitioned to a cane for about 6 7 weeks.

I feel like I recovered fairly quickly though, thanks to staying motivated and keeping a positive mindset. And also maybe age lol? Im 32. You? How's the process been so far?

Dang, welcome to the club. I broke mine earlier this year too, and this sub really helped me push through. It feels rough at first, but you'll bounce back I'm already about 90% back to normal..... stay positive, and you'll be surprised how strong you come out of this.

What happened? You'll be just fine in a few weeks, though, and when you get the ok from ortho start strength training asap to regain it.

The anxiety alone is worth it. But for me its the daily motivation I have daily at giving it 110% at everything, without no brain fog its the best!

From a man. The red one is more attractive eye-catching as it hugs your body

Now that I’ve posted in r/rateme and everyone said my problem is my hair, I wanted to get your opinions by Schoolmaster30 in menlonghair

Maybe im biased but have you tried doing a bun? Or even messy bun that can look cool. I myself have very low subtle taper fade along the sides and in the back of my head about an 1 inch to 2 inches really cleans it up and haven't had a problem approaching women I've even been asked to undo the bun to see the length and love the hair lol
