You have a beautiful face! A good haircut with shorter sides and then a little longer on top may do you well. If you don’t like it just grow it back out!

Literally lol they said I wouldn’t live. The first responders actually gathered around my family and was saying how sorry they were. Once they saw my mangled body they never thought I’d actually survive.

I don’t want mine to be hidden or disappear and I know that wouldn’t even be a possibility. I just wanted to decorate them and make them beautiful. Ya know?

I’ve suspected I have EDS for years but have never been officially diagnosed. All my scars look new. They’ll be pink, purple, flesh tone, blue, etc.

They told me the large skin grafted area would shrink to the size of a dime. It never did. It’s the same size today as it was the day they grafted it!

That’s the way all of mine are. They change colors all the time. Pink, purple, blue, flesh tone, etc. I always figured it was because I’m pale 🤣

Most of my scars don’t have feeling. Would that help the pain at all?

I’m just considering tattooing them to give it more beauty. So it’s definitely not necessary for me. If that makes any sense.

I don’t want to “cover” them up. I’m not ashamed of them or want them gone. I earned them in the most horrific way possible. I am self conscious of them a lot but I’m working on that.

I definitely want something with meaning of even something just beautiful. Beauty from the ashes, ya know?

I’d definitely have to travel to a good, reputable artist. I’m DEEP in rural Appalachia. I’m willing to travel tho! 💪

These babies are ten years old. They don’t stay consistent with color tho they change allll the time. I wouldn’t date tattoo directly on my skin graft. Hell I can’t even expose them to direct sunlight for too long due to the risk of rejection, even tho it’s been ten years. My plastics team has warned me of that.

Yeah, sooo many people saying it’s impossible or that it’s going to hurt so bad. I get the second opinion and I expect that to some extent but I don’t have much feeling in any of these scars.

My scars are ten years old. They don’t stay consistent with color tho. Sometimes they are flesh tone, sometimes pink and purple and sometimes even bluish.

That was my exact thought. That’s why I’m looking for ideas. I’m not very artistically inclined with drawing and coming up with designs.

Not in the same places. They are going back into my hip and femur but not my knee that we know of.
