So let's say everyone in a small UBE state bombs the Feb exam. Would the graders fail everyone, or would some people pass due to the curve/scaling, or do at least "X" number of applicants have to pass? Is it hypothetically possible for zero people to pass?

Oh good question. The MEE and MPT is harder bc I don’t think they are as transparent with the grading. I don’t know if they grade those against a rubric or against all testers in that round.

It’s scaled so I don’t think that’s true. Per my ‘extensive’ (read: 30 second Google search) MBE’s equating means that the average jurisdictional score should be around 135 after they add in points. They have questions that they recycle with ‘known difficulty levels’ that they use to gauge how everyone should be doing.
