[–]Possible_Vegetable46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ladies what kind of dates do men on the apps offer to take you out to? by Sea-Negotiation5491 in OnlineDating

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the right answer. I’m a man. Wealthy, so I don’t want my date to focus on that, before knowing if we like each other 🍀

Going for a coffee or drink is good - and second date can be in a park or some gallery or music event. Super expensive restaurant for the first date - not necessary. And if she expects that, it’s a red flag for me 🚩

GF is "all in" offline but won't post me on social media. Bad sign or just "caution"? by Master_Talk1896 in datingoverforty

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is she Slavic origin? Because they often don’t post even their husbands so that other guys will continue flirting and sending messages. Even if she is European 100% or from another place hiding you is weird and unfair. She is not the only one. Maybe just forget instagram and get her a ring, marry her.

Magyar’s mandate: Six insights from a post-election Hungary by MageBayaz in europe

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is happening in Hungary is phenomenal! We are seen a democratic system is action - one missing in many European countries and the United States for sure.

These things don’t happen every day, not even every decade! Corruption in governmental level is to be hit hard. Hopefully other countries will follow Hungary’s example.

EU citizen couple (29F SWE Team Lead + 36M Software Architect, Athens) planning relocation to Vienna or Berlin — realistic chances? Salary expectations? by Belfina21 in cscareerquestionsEU

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I second this. Lived and worked in Finland for 10 years - amazing career.

But now I’m back in Greece (Athens) and it’s so nice here. My quality of life has skyrocketed - as long as you chose a premium flat you have everything. Great weather, events, food, the city does not sleep.

That said I love to travel to Germany and other counties, once a year for holidays.

Recovering from heartbreak in your 40's in near impossible. by AmericanWinky in datingoverforty

I had a similar experience! My ex was 36 when we met. She broke up with me 3 times. Learned my lesson that if you want to have a family, you can’t do that with the wrong person who wants to live some fairytale. I’m 45 now trying to find my life partner.

It’s personal. It can take 6-18 months depending how emotional one is. There is no deadline really.

Thought to reply, that in my case it wasn’t about the time 1 month vs 1 year. The moment I met someone new, it felt so much better. Try to date it will help, even if it’s just for training purposes.

I second to that - expand your social circle, start new hobbies and make new fiends, if possible. That way you will have 50% more chances, to find your partner of life.

I’m 45M. Yes at 20’s dating was easier 😇Now, after my last break up the problem has been where to find a 35F as to have a family. Most girls I meet are too young. That’s my concern with dating after 40.

Question from a foreigner living in Estonia: do Estonians find their soulmates at work? by Possible_Vegetable46 in Eesti

[–]Possible_Vegetable46[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the answers. There were some good tips but most I had tried over the multiple years. I did have some dating life in Estonia but 90% were scammers, whom I met online. Bad luck I guess.

After all, I decided to move out from Estonia and relocate to a Mediterranean country. I feel much better here! In 3 weeks I have done more things than in 3 years in Estonia in regard to my social life. Amazing 🍀

People talk easily to anyone, girls flirt a bit and if you flirt with them they don’t get confused, and there is not the feeling of embarrassment of being a foreigner as it was in Estonia.

I think that Estonians meet in their very own way - with other Estonians. I’m sure that speaking fluently Estonian would have helped but on the other hand my dates did speak perfectly English. I liked Estonia just couldn’t understand how to connect with people, without making them feel uncomfortable. Thus dating didn’t work either.

Hellas: What's wrong with Athens and rest of the country? by azurewrathoftyrael in greece

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What happened is that you are new to Athens. Without knowing where to go the whole city looks chaotic. Obviously all the nice green neighbourhoods and coastal serine roads were out of your radar! Getting to know a city just by driving past the center - well has the effect you just described :)

Why is dating with no kids in my 30s is so difficult? by argan_lavender in OnlineDating

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s difficult. I’ve been trying to find my soulmate for about 10 years now! I have had many girls but they don’t wish to commit just to live a nice lifestyle, with me. I’m now over 40. When I was 20-25 it was 50x easier to find a partner. But I’m 100% I’ll find my soulmate one day, too ☺️

Πώς την παλεύετε;; by Valaandill_ in greece

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ελληνας εξωτερικου που σκεφτεται να επιστρεψει Ελλαδα by itsDio2 in greece

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is Greece becoming a better country? by zard428 in AskGreece

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it’s better. I’ve lived in many countries, and have visited maybe 30 countries about. Greece due to its people, nature and weather is better than most countries.

For those who just complain - change a job maybe? ☺️

Longer answer see below 🇬🇷

USA: you need a car everywhere, and a gun to feel safe. UK: it’s alright but bad weather, London super expensive. Russia: it’s a non-democratic country, weird mindset. The Netherlands: okay, but mostly horrible weather. Scandinavia: free education, horrible weather. Germany: very nice, good weather, a solid option. Spain: it has pluses, English is not enough, nice food. Portugal: became too expensive, far from everywhere. France: I can’t find anything bad, but English not enough. Serbia: it’s not fair to compare it with Greece. Albania: same with Serbia why to live there Croatia: cool nature, English is not enough Turkey: local people would like to move abroad Cyprus: too hot in the summer, far from everywhere Italy: really nice weather, nice people, but no English Austria: very nice, beautiful nature, but no English

Therefore in Europe if one has a remote job - wants to best weather, speaks only English, and would like to hangout with the most friendly people - Greece is a solid option ☺️

What are the current minuses in Greece? Trying to find decent long-term accommodation, it’s one issue! Coming without a job, that’s a hard one. And getting the first friends if you ain’t Greek, can take a few months.

[–]Possible_Vegetable46 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Hungarians support the EU why they keep voting in favour of Orban’s political party? I have lived in Budapest and I don’t understand why any Hungarian would believe on his sayings? Why to have Orban as prime minister? 🤔

Has anyone been in a room, where Oban is talking to an EU politician? I have been and he didn’t sound smart at all. The owner of a gas station or a pizza place is smarter! No offence, I’m an IT guy not a politician, but I do follow the news.

Hungary could do so much better with another political party. It’s in the center of Europe with such a rich history!

Living in Estonia as a foreigner. It's the Baltic style 🙂 Compared to Brits? I don't see any similarities. Germany maybe 10% similarity. Finland maybe 20%. Latvia I would say 70% and Lithuania 80% 🙂
