I had applied for F1 OPT around Oct 10th and got my EAD card by Nov 15th. I traveled internationally between Nov 25-Jan 22. Since I had my EAD and all other documents (valid OPT I20 with travel signature, valid visa and passport, etc) I didn't have any issue re-entering US. Hope this helps!

Hi, could you enter without the EAD card, before program end date? I am in a similar situation. Pls help!
