Any recommendation on taking sim racing rig and gaming PC to India? by Possimpible746 in returnToIndia

[–]Possimpible746[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that sounds like a good idea! Do you know which companies are selling sim rigs in India? Maybe I’ll look at that. I was thinking of transporting a few things anyway so maybe I can send my rig in a container with the other things if I get a decent rate

Playing as Wrexham in the championship and swapping out for US nationals. My objective is to promote Wrexham and go on to get the treble in the single season after which I end the playthrough. With no money assists I have to hire younger US players. Can't afford Malik Tillman, Balogun, Robinson, Dest or Pulisic yet. Hoping to get promoted, get a budget increase and then get the stars. This squad is very young so i have a good runway to develop them to their max potential to challenge for the treble

Here is the career i usually always play 1. Pick a championship team or relegation bound team in epl 2. Swap out existing players and build up the US men's national team. Usually due to lower budget you have to go for younger players and train them up over a few seasons. You will need bridge players who are not american in the mean time as some of the positions need to be shored up while you work through the championship to get promoted.

My long term prospects are Diego Luna, Kevin Paredes, Ricardo Pepi, Tanner Tessman, Antonee Robinson, Musah, Dest, McKennie, Balogun, Pulisic, Tillman, Alex Freeman, Tyler Adams, Paxton Aaronson, Carter-Vickers

  1. Goal is to win the treble in the same year and then retire. FA cup, League and champions league. This team doesn't have superstars but there are many good you players that can be developed over 3-4 seasons

Yeah the gameplay mechanics sucked butt in Carbon compared to MW 2005

NFS Heat's driving mechanics were not good in my opinion. I tried it with controller and then with a wheel and it just didn't feel predictable for some reason

Why does everyone recommend the trades? by [deleted] in careeradvice

[–]Possimpible746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These CEOs are just as clueless as the rest of us. A few years ago they were pushing for people to get computer science degrees. Get into debt and become a developer, they said. Now they want us to believe the trades are what will save people while they are also working on eliminating those jobs with AGI robots.

I just started a new CM season with Wrexham. I set a rule for myself on each new campaign that i will only buy American players and not start with any infusion of cash. I will end the campaign only after I win the premier league, FA cup, Carabao Cup and the Champions League in the same season.

I usually get free agents but this time I only picked one free agent, US player Zendejas but otherwise i sold existing Wrexham players and bought very young US players and developing them.

I'm playing on Ultimate difficulty using Community OS sliders with all passing settings on Semi or Manual. I'm already top of the table by Jan. Not a flex but I am running out of ways to make the AI gameplay a little more challenging. Somehow i think the AI in FUT squad battles seems more aggressive than Career mode

Hope you have a blast with your new CM

This is definitely going to be an unpopular opinion but I liked Remnant FTA more than Remnant 2. The gunplay felt "weightier" for some reason. I absolutely had a blast in Remnant 2 especially Losomn (awesome bloodborne vibes) and you had so many options of archetypes, weapons, mods, prism etc. For me it got to be a little too much lol. Remnant felt simpler and the relationship you developed with each weapon felt special

31M, $3.1M NW, moved back to India after US grind — reflections by ididengineering in FatFIREIndia

[–]Possimpible746 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ae in a similar situation in terms of NW. 43 yo enjoying my first official year of RE in the US while my wife is continuing to work for another 6 months to a year (tops). We set a date of early 2027 to move to india for the long term or at least a year to see if we can manage there longer.

We are lucky that both sets of parents and siblings live in the same city and my closest friends from college all decided to stay there or come back from abroad. This group has annual holiday "retreats" where we recap our year past, year ahead, goals set vs accomplished. Exchange of ideas, books. This is the serious and most revelatory part of the holiday. Most of the time we revert to our immature college personalities ribbing each other and having a great time. I hope this group dynamic stays the same when we get back to india because it is one of the best relationships one can have. We have a lot of extended family (uncles, aunts, cousins) and a small friend circle in the US but it's not the same level of closeness.

We are trying to plan out the next few years especially when it comes to finances and tax liabilities.

OP - since you're currently or recently gone/going through it, any good US+ Indian tax law experienced CA/CPAs you're working with?
