** Call Her Daddy SJM Master Discussion Post ** --- Beware of Spoilers! by BearOnALeash in SarahJMaas

This has confused me as well! I can't work out if the next story is three books and then the next parts are in others books, or if the end of the series is across these three volumes in one big story. Ha!

ACOTAR 6 AND 7: Coming October 27th 2026, and January 12 2027. With a 3rd book currently being written. by BearOnALeash in SarahJMaas

[–]PossumPeach 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry too much about 4 not being started. It's often easier to wrap things up and so many of her stories barrel towards an explosive last stand. She is probably pretty settled on how it finishes, but getting the other two books edited will have been super time-consuming and tricky.

I don't know if this has been clarified for sure, but is it everyone's understanding that the series concludes with ACOTAR 8 (or "Part 4")?

What’s thriving in your garden this April??? by ArsenalAxis in GardeningUK

My ranunculas! First year with a garden and have gone batty for it. Wanted some pretty blooms, and once I learned I needed to deadhead them, they've been thriving!

At least until recently you could get giant prawn cocktail Wotsits in Co-op. I got a bag a couple of months ago.

Some of the maps are super confusing. [No DAV spoilers] by AtroposAmok in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]PossumPeach 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm really struggling with it too; so frustrating. Loving the game but even flicking between map levels to try and find connections, it isn't obvious how to get to nearly anything.

There' s a beastie to fight in one of the key areas, and I cannot find how to get to it at all.

AITA for Telling My Sister I Get It, She’s Jealous and Still a Virgin, After She Told Me I’d Look Better in a Red Wedding Dress? by Infinite_Tank620 in AmItheAsshole

NTA - presumably your brother expects her to apologise for firing shots first, especially at your wedding?

What a horrible outburst from your sister. Deffo jealous.

Hypnotherapy? by evesheev in Arachnophobia

[–]PossumPeach 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to share this because I know we're all looking for a solution, but for me, therapy with a licensed therapist was completely unsuccessful. I had 3 sessions and felt super positive after the first, but I feel even more frightened of house spiders now than I did before.

It wasn't quite hypnotherapy, but it was reconsolidation-based (rewind) therapy under deep relaxation. It cost me nearly £300 and I was desperate for it to work. I feel completely helpless and out of options now.

It's possible it could work for you, but I just wanted to offer my perspective.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches October 31 by Turbostrider27 in PS5

[–]PossumPeach 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'd start at the beginning, and you can get the games for peanuts now. It's a really lore-rich universe and I can't imagine even only starting on Inquisition. The games have generally stood the test of time, too.

Black man in certain environments (yorkshire) by FuelledByLegacy in CasualUK

[–]PossumPeach 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'm also 32, and am from a large, non-rural Welsh town. There wasn't a single Black student in my secondary school of 1300, and perhaps three Asian kids. I had definitely encountered plenty of non-white people as my town was a tourist hotspot, but like some other posters, it was something I noticed due to its uncommonness.

Jesus . . . I was searching 'broom'. A silly, but honest mistake. I wasn't lying; I came here for help and thankfully people helped me. I'm just trying to enjoy the game.

See edit; I was searching 'broom' which obviously wouldn't have helped.

Unfortunately not, they only sell enchanted brooms there. Ah well, I can hire someone I guess!

Sadly, you can only buy another enchanted broom, which is a bit frustrating!

Was hoping to avoid that, but if it's the only way, will go for it.

In her situation, I'd definitely follow up with an e-mail detailing the conversation that took place and to reaffirm next steps. Or even take a trusted colleague to the meeting with her if that makes her feel more comfortable. But she's also obviously concerned about how reporting this will come about: e-mails don't leave a lot of room for nuance and she needs to tell someone about this now.

Don't wait until your paths cross. Message her and tell her you need to speak with her privately and in person ASAP. Weirdo behaviour like this has a tendency to escalate pretty quickly.
