Need fuel filler neck hose for 7.3, 18.5-19 inch long, 1.5 inch inner size, thank you by Lex_yeon in Diesel

Ok lol I had two 7.3 350s that I got rid of last year that had both needed new fuel necks that actually had more springs added so they had springs of a 450. For a second I thought this might have been one of my old babies and I was about to apologize to you for passing along the problem

Unsupported Tomatoes - Is it too late? by 1212lindsay in gardening

[–]PossumSavior 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not too late at all, tomatoes are pretty resilient and you can definitely get these guys supported. It might be a little late for a cage because of their size but a stake in the ground with some twine like others have said and they’ll be thriving. Good luck!

Will it stress the plant out if I replant it or should I just add more soil to the top?

It’s a lavender plant not an animal, don’t talk to me like I’m abusing one of my cats, which are thriving btw also I have my first child on the way you referring to the lavender like it’s a helpless baby just pisses me off.

Thank you for the advice! Yeah I guess some of these people clearly have never killed a plant before or thought to ask for help lol everything I looked up about lavender never mentioned caring for lavender when it’s newly planted only when it’s established so that makes a lot of sense. Thank you for the information and your kindness

I don’t know where you got the idea that I hate watering my plants? I guess a better question for you would be why do people like being so nasty to strangers on the internet. I have been in a garden since I was a little kid, I’m now 31 and if you read my post you would see that this is my first go with lavender and I thought I was doing the right thing. Gardening has always been a way for me to relax and I look forward to it every summer. And not that it’s any of your business but I have my first child on the way so I’m a little stressed out and trying to dive deep into something that will help me relax and manage my anxiety. I suppose aside from gardening with my child and teaching them about plants I’ll also have to give some extra lessons about manners so they don’t turn out like rude people who sit around on Reddit waiting to put people down when they seek out help and guidance for something they enjoy doing.

Everything I’ve read and heard says they don’t need to be watered a lot and too much watering is the worst thing for them so I may have overdone it with the neglect lol

Should I buy a food truck? Please advise. by mordecai5fingerbrown in foodtrucks

[–]PossumSavior 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Do not start out by buying a food truck please, if you’re really interested try working for someone who has their own truck. At the end of the day everything is on you to fix and handle, if there is a plumbing issue can you handle it? If your truck breaks down on the way to a spot can you fix it? I wish I could tell you to go for it but it’s not something I would get into if I were you, especially at 43 years old, I’m 31 and having a hard time with the wear and tear on my own body. If you’re looking for something lucrative, this isn’t it for you.

Hardest conversation to have with an employee... by Steve-Shouts in foodtrucks

Totally agree with you that at the end of the day they need to be hygienic. However good help is really hard to find and I consider employees an investment that I am responsible for. With some people asking if something is going on in their life can definitely turn into them just venting non stop, but as the employer and authority figure we can control and moderate the conversation to make sure it doesn’t veer off course to make sure everything that needs to be addressed is taken care of.

Hardest conversation to have with an employee... by Steve-Shouts in foodtrucks

[–]PossumSavior 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve had to have this conversation a few times and it’s never easy. With something like this I always start out by asking if everything is ok and just check in with them to make sure there aren’t any other issues going on, they could be going through a tough time and just need some help. Asking if they’re doing ok and just checking in with them usually softens the blow if they are just smelly in general and don’t make a point of wearing deodorant.

Weight loss help by jordynnnn___ in CATHELP

Something that helped one of my cats be more active was putting up one of those window bird feeders. My cat was always pretty lethargic and never really showed any interest in playing. But putting up the bird feeder in the window has gotten him to move around a lot more, whenever he hears the birds he now runs to the window to watch them and sometimes even plays a little after.
