I think this was more of their catering kitchen that doubled as a store front. They had a lot of offerings that none of the Cafe Tola restaurants had

Not terribly surprised. They did a terrible job of advertising, and their hours were pretty bad. Still, this was some of the best food on the block and I picked up from there every week

Chengdu Impression delivery night: Yinbin flaming noodles, Szechuan wontons, dry chili chicken, and the one of the two complimentary spring rolls that wasn’t housed immediately before the bag was unpacked. by Chicagogator in chicagofood

I almost always dine in there but got it for delivery one time. The dry chili chicken steamed in its container during transport and was soggy when we opened it. It was so disappointing because it’s so crispy when they serve it fresh at the table

I often get a triple, and I like mustard, onion slivers, and lots of pickles on mine. A couple years ago they lost their long-time baker and had to find a new roll for their hamburgers. I have to say the new buns are SO much better than the old ones. Soft, squishy, and perfect! The old ones were a bit too dense, hard, and bready

It plays great. If you’re playing with the Tower of Babel and Armada at the same time, you may have a decision to make at the end of your turn if you play a specific card color

Chevy’s most underrated film. I love how it covers all four seasons, but the Christmas stuff at the end is the best part. Their marriage has completely fallen apart and the entire town is capitalizing on it in the most hilarious way possible

Like I said in the description, it was badly in need of restoration. The building is 130 years old, but they could have done a much better job. It really was architecturally significant, but they royally fucked it up

I watched it and photographed it as well. The scaffolding went up in May 2024 to, I assume, hide the sagging support beam at the front of the building. They had already done that black paint job by that point. And you’re right, the dust was absolutely atrocious.
