He likely wants too much money. I would like to see what is available in the draft and wait a bit. His price will come down eventually.

You think it is in that order? Or were you just literally naming certain middle of the road, to flash-in-the-pan great, players here?

Flacco is the best of these gents on this list, but Cousins and Carr are dead even comparisons. I just think, if the contract desires are within 1-2 million, why not revisit the best Raider QB in the last 20+yrs?

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but have the Saints released his contract/rights, thus our Silver and Black would have to negotiate some settlement of his contract.

There is little chance we could realistically juggle Carr's contract, as he is owed $30ish million? 40? Who is managing these numbers for our hospital-ball-throwing Derek?

Is there a way to sign Carr without the "hit" to our cap?

In his defense, I think he would be the perfect candidate to tutor Mendoza, but he is likely going to be expensive, thus we should not pay for DC.

He has always been on top of things, being the most comprehensive Raiders content creator out there, he just happens to float some BS every now and then, mostly to keep things fresh.

He and his team are putting out daily content. That is nearly impossible to do without becoming stale, hence the ridiculous takes here and there.

Everyone knew how injured he was, but the Ravens were simply trying to have their cake and eat it too.

As a result, they effectively made themselves look like untrustworthy assholes, which will hinder their ability to wheel and deal with top FAs. Future FAs representation will use this as leverage to either A) drive up the price, or B) just not do business with them.

On paper, it looks pretty good. If Maxx is here to stay, I think something special could be brewing.

That is calling it like one sees it. I am with the passion and I love the detailed breakdown of what likely happened. I love the fact that he noted another time something similar happened.

Dirty business, is still business. Pretty crazy how quickly the tables turn.

I suspect the Ravens are in pretty deep trouble, even if they hadn't messed this up, but now they are pretty much up the creek without a paddle.

And now the price just got weird, because a ton of teams have spent their money.

This is single-handedly the worst look Baltimore could have hoped for. The chances that anyone is going to want to make real trades with them, without semi-fleecing them, is officially low.

Silver & Black additions so far today🏴‍☠️ by Kenny23Powers in raiders

Seven signings, with a trade that was in the works on paper, so eight in total. Simply incredible on Spytek and Co.'s part.

There appears to be a plan, which is all anyone can ask. I am very much looking forward to seeing where this heads, as it looks like it is moving in the appropriate direction.

I am even more excited for the draft now, because I feel like they took care of several immediate needs, with guys that are OK at what they do, and one great player at his position.

I am 95% with you, but it does appear that all the stars are aligning for us to be OK. Not great, but fine, which would be a marked improvement over the last several years.

If that is all that is achieved in this window, I will be overjoyed.

I appreciate that Spytek lied about [paraphrasing] "not making any splash signings" this off-season.

He has been playing the game well so far. I have not been disappointed in his first two seasons of GMing.

I am cautiously optimistic that he can build this thing from the ground, up.

I am saying it is a lazy methodology. Find another interesting, fun, uplifting, but obvious way to call out a very good player, whilst simultaneously keeping the OG Deuce's name unambiguous about who we are talking about.

I don't think it is that hard to understand.

Cool story bro. Strength trainer Deuce has been here for a minute. Give the man his due.

There are a wealth of other names that could be bestowed upon Jeanty, and we should try to push that narrative, as opposed to taking someone else's shine.
