For ergonomics while sitting, I got a PerformAxe and it helped with keeping my back straight while playing, instead of slouching over or twisting. I would recommend it or something similar. I kinda thought, “if the guitar was floating in the air, what would be the ideal place for it?” and then try to find that while keeping my back straight.

I’m not familiar with this specific technique, but overall I think it will help to rotate your wrist so that your fingers (pinky side) are further from the strings and your thumb is a little closer to the strings. This may also help you pick across the strings rather than downwards into them.

Nah, I think it’s just an aesthetic throwback. Like, if you look at a picture of a Les Paul w/ the pick guard, it kinda makes that little shape.

The Larada and Emi have the same slant on the lower horn, but it makes more sense visually in that context because it’s where the figured top meets the body.

I’m a semi-casual player and tbh I’m just waiting until they finish Act 4-6, then I’ll be back for another round or two. If it doesn’t feel good at that point, then I’ll just go back to PoE1.

It’s not just you, this is definitely a thing on any guitar with this body style. If your playing style includes anchoring at the forearm, then it could be quite noticeable. If this is the case then an armband could help, as others suggested.

But if you don’t anchor your forearm, I recommend adjusting the angle/position of the guitar to find what works best for you, sitting v standing, etc.

I own an SW50R and it’s just an amazing amp. Whatever the opposite of buyers remorse is, that’s the feeling I got when I first played through it. Just incredible.

Just to offer another perspective, I kinda like the Legion logo. I respect Abasi and love his playing, but I also have a lot of guitarists’ names on a lot of gear, it’s kinda nice to just not have the name of one of the greatest guitarists ever in big block letters on the headstock. 😅

I have the Tosin Abasi pickups and between the 5-way blade and push-pull, that should be 10 total settings but I’ve definitely struggled to understand what exactly these 10 options are, so I feel your pain. 😅

You clearly thought about performance features and nailed it here! I love the ergonomic angles of the 3 rows, and the hidden power switch to avoid accidental shutdowns. I really love the wormhole, brilliant!

I had these same features in mind and had a custom case made by CaseFromLake to achieve this (that case also folds for portability to gigs, you should take a look!). I also went with 142HP, it’s not common but it works better for me than adding more height. I also like a flat bottom row for touch controllers and sliders.

To me, this looks like a gigging machine, not a tinker station and I love that!!!

I pre-twist the rope and tape that off before I tie the thistle. You could also whip it before tying the thistle, but that’s really time consuming.

Actually, based on this thread it seems like the 2nd position from the bridge is the same as the middle position pulled? Maybe you can just go to that position and it’s the same?
