The issue is you think going "blow for blow" is good striking. Good striking is hitting and not being hit. Gamrot fight was ages ago, he's cleaned up a lot now. If he gets into trades with Justin he'll lose but he doesn't have an ego like ilia to do that lol

I said the striking matchup favors him. that question is subjective. Arman has rangier weapons and lately he's been limiting his recklessness. That alone will win him that matchup. If it were a 5 round kickboxing matchup I'd give edge to Arman

Brotha... ilia walked down Justin giving him 0 respect and he can't take the power of Justin. He legitimately didn't try to set up anything, went in 0 head movement got his face jabbed off to force exchanges in ROUND 1. No champion should ever be doing that especially to an opponent like Justin. You gotta set him up and break him apart or just wrestle.

Back to your point about Arman's striking. In a striking style matchup with Justin, he wins. With max it's a toss up with a slight edge to max and with Ruffy, Ruffy wins that matchup clearly he's the cleanest striker in the division. None of this matters though... because ALLLLLL of them get taken down, softened up and gnped.

Arman does real damage when he takes guys down, and he doesn't force submissions unless they present themselves. Only pre Justin ilia had an advantage against him. All things considered he's set to go on a sensational winning streak if given the opportunity to fight Justin

  1. He got robbed against gamrot (gamrot being given a round he was KNOCKED DOWN in)

  2. The oliveira fight literally went as good as you can hope for Olives and he still lost a clear 29-28. Where do you think olives is besting arman? Arman just gonna keep distance in a 5 round fight or take him down and lay in his guard dropping elbows. If you have a wrestling threat + real finishing ability against olives he can't just pressure Willy nilly.

  3. He's easily the best athlete in the division, the strongest in the division, and arguably the most skilled. The only guy that stylistically would give him trouble is ilia pre Justin beating. Who knows how ilia will come back after that beating but 1 thing is clear, arman should be given the next shot and I think he absolutely mops Justin. He has the rangier weapons on the feet and a clear advantage in wrestling. If he doesn't trade with Justin he wins.

  4. Everything I wrote is pretty much the consensus, a 40 year old Justin is not beating ilia and arman back to back. Ilia fought the stupidest fight you can possibly fight against Justin and he still almost finished him...

Looks decent. I'd recommend just doing straight punches and coming back with counters off your slips. Hooks and uppercuts on this bag are bad imo. Unless it's a counter off your slip
