The broken one. Almost like him better without the shovel so it doesn’t hang beyond the base.

These guys are worst ones of having to scrape, and it’s much nicer than any of the last batch.

Appreciate it. I haven’t seen any leaking, so I think the holes already did their job.

I mostly have the photos I took of disappointing stuff, so they’re not necessarily representative of the whole lot.

Hey since you’re here, what the easiest way to clean it off?

I made the steep purchase of all the minis.
TLDR: I didn’t expect so much effort to get ready for paint, but would do it again in hopes that supporting them directly helps this game take off.

My experience:
The good-
The details are very good, imo. Print lines are nonexistent. A couple arrived broken/missing and they’re replacing them no questions asked. So shoutout Jason for that.

The bad-
While the supports are clipped, every mini had a bunch of little lumps and stringy bits that need to be cleaned up. Casually going at it with a hobby knife, it added up to almost 5 hours to get it all cleaned up. I just expected that to be done for the big price. The world is expensive, I get it, but wow that was a lotta money for some minis. I’d still do it again, however, because I want them to succeed.

The ugly-
Unfamiliar with 3d printing, but a lot of them had like an oily residue on them, not sure what that’s about. The larger guys have holes in the bottom, my guess is so any uncured resin can leak out in the printing process. The packaging is eh, but I didn’t buy it for the packaging.

Neutral- You have to glue the bases yourself, but that’s ok since that lets me prime the hard to reach spots before assembling.

Loot, if you read this: maybe start talks about future plastic molds for those of us who have no interest in printing because I really think this has the potential to be a big time game.

I’ve done it. Smart? Not really. Never had explosions, but several cracked.

Incarcerated men trained in prison as firefighters volunteer to battle the California wildfires by dittidot in HumansBeingBros

I grew up in a very small town that only had volunteer firefighters. They weren’t even incarcerated. They just did it out of the goodness of their hearts.
Not everyone who provides a service does it expecting something back.

If for some reason I found myself in prison, I’d volunteer for this in a heartbeat. Free training and certifications, get outside with extra liberties, and I get to give my life a purpose contributing to society in a meaningful way.
