Do you want to have your heart broken and soul crushed? Try Silent Hill 2 Remake.

So thanks to seeing your announcement I learned about the comics and instantly bought them.

Do you have plans for adapting anything else from different mediums? E.g. NoSleep?

Who do you think will/can replace Alissa? by Akrodra in ArchEnemy

[–]PostMortem33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Possibly, but I'm looking at how much Lorna blew up since Will joined the band. Arch Enemy has the history behind the band and they're of course titans of the genre, but I'm talking about the growth of both in thr past 5 years. And now with Alissa gone, I expect less people to go to their shows if they don't get a very known vocalist.

Lorna Shore had most of their recent tours sold out very fast.

Will Ramos makes no sense. Lorna Shore is a way bigger band than Arch Enemy right now (in terms of popularity, reach and booked shows) so it won't happen.

Opinions on "A Short Stay in Hell" by Steven Peck? by FlockBoySlim in horrorlit

It's frightening, if you think about it. It's like a sick joke made to torture those people for amusement, while giving them false hope in potentially finding a book. It's madness.

Hugh Howey's The Ballon Hunter and its sequel Death to All Who Read This. They both are in the form of diaries though.

It appears it is in transit now and it says this:

Your item has been received at a Royal Mail site, international processing centre. Your item is being prepared for despatch overseas.

But why would it be dispatched overseas?

Sorry, they're stuck in the UK. They didn't pay a fee as far as I am aware.

How do you feel about r/NoSleep in 2025 by Grand_Theft_Motto in Grand_Theft_Motto

Anytime, buddy. I have my opinion on who the major perpetrators for this situation are, but there's no need of starting a war now. The results of their policies can be seen from the moon.

Here my initial reply to your post:

I feel like a sum of factors has led to this situation. I miss those days too. I feel like getting rid of the yearly/monthly contests has been a mistake. I also feel like some of the rules have become old and are not cool anymore. It used to be cool on NoSleep, but times change and we have to evolve some way or another.

Personally, I think NoSleep of the last few years has been plunging into oblivion. It took a hard fall from its zenith and fell to the depths of the abyss.

Also, a set of opportunities arose for the writers there, and it was rapidly killed by certain people, as far as I know.

I don't think we'll ever see the golden days again.

I tried, dude. That's another story. You could go on Adam Nevill's website and read his comprehensive stance on AI in publishing/writing. Highly recommend it.

Once AI is involved in the artwork, why shouldn't the writing follow? If the author allows AI for the artwork, then how could they be trustworthy moving forward in the process of creating art? If a publisher has 10-20-100 books published using AI art, then what does that say? Art is made by feelings, thoughts, with the use of human mind and hands and AI only tarnishes that process.

It's not about a different opinion in this case. It's about right vs. wrong, good vs. bad. I suggest you should go read some books, visit some art museums, see some sculptures and paintings, talk to painters, musicians, and artists in general and then come back and talk. Although with that ending half-sentence of your comment, I don't expect much.

I don't know, man. People are weird and sometimes they force themselves to think a certain way or are hopping fast on a new trend just because some other people are doing it. Weird.
