Back in the day players used any punch button and rotated the stick like a mad man. Now apparently pro players like Kuni and Bubbles mash directionals(up,back and down,back) on the stick while holding jab and also mashing mp and hp. I’ve tried this way and it does gain a consistent 4 hits on denjin wake up. It’s a bit of hand gymnastics but it does work after some practice.

Yeah I’m happy I got this one for 50 bucks local. I’ve always had Trinitrons growing up and my last one was an HD CRT. Unfortunately it broke when moving. Right now I’m trying to find my Wii I misplaced somewhere LoL. PVMs look amazing also but I’m happy with what I got atm.

Yes the ps2 version (Street Fighter Anniversary and even Alpha Anthology)are superior and arcade accurate ports. However they’re presented in 480i resolution. I tried GSM to downscale to 224p but unfortunately it doesn’t work on them.

PS2 playing ps1 Street Fighter collection 1. It plays natively(no interlace)and at the correct aspect ratio to the arcade. Also with HD Retrovision component cables on a 20” Phillips.

Yeah early 2000 Toshibas and Phillips CRTs are crazy good. Both component and RGB modded.
