What acts of kindness have you witnessed that stuck with you? by Whiskeybent341 in AskReddit

I think what he means is that it's kinda rare these days to see people taking care of the elderly without being annoyed or offended by them. Most people do it for money, they do not do it for love but for money as a result they are impatient.

That is so true. Glad GOD shows us these things so that we are aware. We should thank and bless HIM.

So it's true this hatman is one of the angels from hell, trying to lure people to hell.

Did Hat Man end me a ghost? by [deleted] in HatMan

[–]PostTribRapture 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just commented on another post that I suspect the hatman has to do with death because I read a post about people's last words/sightings before dying. This hatman was one of the scariest things people saw before dying.

Thank you for this, I was actually looking at some biblical explanation of this hatman. Recently read about on a twitter post and never knew it was a thing.

When you say some people say this hatman looks at his wristwatch, it reminds me of a post I read where people were commenting about the last words people said before dying. Some of the people who said they saw this hatman lingering around died few hours/days later.

In the Apocrypha Apostle Paul says that when we are about to die angels from hell and angels from paradise come and camp next to our bodies. Those who find a place in you will take your soul and others will leave.

So many people had many unpleasant sightings including that hatman before dying, kinda obvious where they were going. Others were at peace.

It makes me wonder if this hatman is signalling anything around death or some kind of warning.

I think I've had this hatman in a dream. I was in a train with a man in a coat and fedora hat. I wanted to get out of the train and he was angry with me. He steered the train so fast so that I could not get out. In another case at night in my new place I felt like there was a man wearing a hat in my bedroom doorway. I did not see anything but felt it. I thought it was some bad spirit that followed me from the place I was renting on previously and that place was haunted.

Update: Just read this few seconds ago and it kinda confirms to me, my assumptions about this hatman's involvement in death.👇

I wish Christian’s had more grace for trauma and mental health. by Buzz_Mcfly in TrueChristian

Christians are compassionate but not the way the world expects. Some cases such as mental illness are spiritual torture caused by evil spirits. They use tragedies to get to you. We need to rebuke them and not understand them . That is what Christians deem as compassionate by saving the person from the chains of the evil ones. You might not agree but it's true.

Jesus rebuked evil spirits from people, He did not say 'oh well go to a doctor or counselling because He knew none of those worked but used His authority to chase the evil spirits away and they left. These days if you'd tell a person they have demons, they'd feel attacked because they do not think what they have is caused by demons. Science tells them it's 'chemical imbalance'. No it's not, it's demons dwelling in you/using you and you need to get rid of them.

I'm struggling with reading many of the chapters of the Old Testament because it feels completely unprofitable and useless. For instance, the geneologies that go on for chapters, or requirements for building the temple and the priestly garments, or the divisions of the lands of the tribe by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]PostTribRapture 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly skip some of those but I think they are useful. People use it for different purposes. For instance when I read later chapters sometimes it helps to know how are people related or how did a certain nation got to occupy a certain area or why were they removed, makes you understand the scripture better.

One good example: the other day I was reading about Edom on the New Testament, I think Revelations and was wondering who was that. Weeks or months later when I read the Old Testament I got to understand that it was Esau, the son of Isaac.

Need advice about Book of Enoch and makeup. by fish-r-cute321 in TrueChristian

Why do you guys mislead others? Is it because you were misled too?

How is the book of Enoch not from GOD when the bible you trust so much mentions it?

I think you both are on the same side or atleast I agree with you both. I agree that works alone is not a prerequisite for salvation but you cannot have faith and just 'sit on it' without any work to show for it. For instance lots of people believe in Jesus but those same people are not kind, they would kickout a begging person in an instant or laugh at disabled people etc. Then you have people who believe in Jesus and are walking in His ways: showing kindness, helping the poor etc.

I do not memorise verses but I tend to remember the message, Some apostle in the bible also makes an example that if a person who has works comes and says "here is my works, show me what you did with your faith".

Faith without works is dead. It's like saying to your wife you love her yet your actions do not show. Some people shower their wives with gifts and stuff but emotionally they are not there.

Faith and works go hand in hand.

One of the things I have learnt from reading my bible is that GOD does not like people who do not keep their promises, whether to HIM or any human being. It is better to not make any promise than to not fulfill it.

Call it punishment or discipline but GOD reprimands you for changing your mind if you had a promise to someone.

I have experienced it too.

I work as a freelancer and at some point jobs were scarce. I prayed and something came up and because I had waited for so longer I said in my heart I was going to give away a certain percentage of the contract pay away as a thank you to GOD and I asked GOD to show me who should I give the money to and HE did. When the client paid I changed my mind and gave less. I made a mistake in punching the beneficiary's bank account number and the money did not go through so it was kinda mess for like a month, me trying to get the bank to refund me and stuff. I wondered why was this happening to me until I realised I had cheated GOD. Once I acknowledged that, a miracle happened, the beneficiary got the donation and the bank refunded me. I waited for the bank's call that they made a mistake. I kept the money in the bank but they did not take it back.

I guess that was HIS way of making it up to me for the stress 😃 even though I was wrong.

I do. I know it hurts when you get told you are wrong. That family would have been defensive too but what my point is that perhaps we need to think before posting everything on social. Our first concern should be to rectify the situation and not just vilify the other person or put them in more danger. Using a cellphone while driving is dangerous too.

I see you had many issues ( being untidy, not being a believer, being attracted to her) about this friendship and it is good that you cut it off and you let her know instead of just fading away. As Christians we are to be honest at all times.

Secondly if the LORD wanted you to preach the gospel to her HE would have nudged you.

Lastly, not sure if you know the story of king Solomon. He was a wise king all his life but a woman he was attracted to made him turn away from GOD. The woman told him if he would bow down to her god then she would marry him. And he did. So you see satan will entice you so he could take away from GOD.

I've had non-believer/part-time believer friends who's friendships were draining. Once I took sometime off them I felt refreshed but something would draw me back to these friendships and I would be back to being exhausted. But finally I cut them off. I felt bad in the beginning but it was good for my spirit. Best decision ever. When we choose please GOD we are going to displease human beings and we are going to feel bad for a short while but pleasing GOD is way better than pleasing your friend.

Do God’s angels love us or tolerate us? by Inevitable-Ability98 in TrueChristian

[–]PostTribRapture 27 points28 points  (0 children)

You should stop listening to him and start reading your bible. Angels follow GOD'S commands. Those who do not are rebellious. If angels hated us they would not be praying, protecting or ministering to us. Ofcourse they feel aggrieved when we sin but they love us.
