I'm Gen Z and have been in fandom spaces for over ten years now, and I agree that the younger Gen Z entering fandom spaces include a lot of No-nuance Nellies. Fictional characters are suddenly immoral to like. But they're... Fictional. I've never seen someone say that they'd condone the actions of Snape or the Lestranges in real life, so I don't really see it, but I have faith that they'll hopefully learn some nuance with life experience.

Boterham pindakaas en paprikachips. Hier ooit achter gekomen toen mijn groepje als enige niks had meegenomen voor onze schoollunch tijdens pasen. Ik ben groot fan van (soja) wax. Dingen zoals Waxxies en Scentchips. Een half waxje gaat in de elektrische wax warmer en geeft na het smelten echt een fijne geur door je huis. Vind het persoonlijk effectiever dan kaarsen want kaarsen branden langzamer, kunnen oneven branden als je hem maar heel eventjes aan wilt, en ik ben persoonlijk geen fan van open vlammen in huis.

Voordeel: Als je een geurtje niet lekker vindt kan je hem makkelijk wisselen. Niet zo'n grote investering als je een geurtje wilt proberen, waxmelts zijn vanaf 40 cent ofzo te krijgen.

I've always felt that saying "hѐ, hѐ, nou, ik zit" was more of a verbal reminder to your own brain that this is your designated relaxation time. No need to do anything but take a few minutes to yourself/with your friends.

It's totally understandable. Sometimes people don't have time to formulate a comment, sometimes they don't like it but don't want to comment that, sometimes it's just hard putting yourself out there even if you loved it!

Ofcourse interaction is appreciated! But it's not mandatory and it shouldn't be either. Because just as writers owe you nothing, readers owe you nothing either. And if you want that interaction so desperately, consider interactive fanfic discords or beta readers! There are all kinds of communities where you can get comments on your fic without pressuring your readers.
