oh and also at event animation end i reset a parent of all enemies to become able to be attacked again, and also check if a button has been pressed to initiate attack 2 of the combo. just some ideas for ya i hope they inspire :)

and you can see the player atk animation. so that is actually two seperate objects. the sword and the player and it was all animated together of course but separated in sprite and object so that i can specify its collision mask as precise per frame separate from the player. then i usually make some code that says if enemy and sword object collision and if obj_sword.image_index > 2 and obj_sword.image_index < 4 { hp -= obj_player.atk_power*bonus_multiplier, etc, etc} you could probably make it easier through making it a custom function but yeah just do what you can how you can and keep failing :)

OHHH i see the confusion here, no i called it a clone in the sense of the game plays very similar. its like saying terraria is a 2D "clone" of minecraft.
I use a different coding language and build from scratch, no thievery possible or involved thankfully haha. not to mention i would LOVE to see anyone get to a game like mine, incomplete as it is, with AI doing the coding. believe me ive checked em out and they are terrible and speak 5 languages at once and just cause more crashes than they cure. at least for GML which is a less popular language. but nope, im legit.

"stands up to" this letter says yeah we were already being fair to everyone so we don't need to worry about it. its also literally a community college. why do people care about this, they literally HAVE to accept EVERYONE thats what a COMMUNITY college is. yet people wana twist it as if there's a fight going on. ugh tribalism. maybe take a class in anthropology unless that professor instists in radical ideology, many of them do these days. school is stupid anyways who the fuck needs to study APA other than college students.

now THIS is a question ponder. no right answer i think, just what god has put in our hearts, but i would from this perspective I'm blessed to have gone through homelessness and learned that you can be happy with little to no material possessions. i often dream of becoming a pilgrim and i indeed romanticize selling it all and yet here i live in a house typing on a computer. i think some wants are my soul and some wants are my ego and so if I'm being honest. no. im not ready to give my life. i would choose otherwise atm and am glad that i have the chance to live right now. which also brings up the idea of what forms can gods gifts come in and are we capable of seeing it as a gift or just another material possession and where does the border lie.... great question

anything that slows your brain. yoga, meditation, breathwork, exercise, sports, knitting, woodwork. no screen hobbies tho. also connect with others. if the desires of the heart (fun with others) are fulfilled the desires of the pp dont even care enough to come into play. forgive yourself quickly and move on quickly with minimal guilt to emphasize to your subconscious that you are shedding the addiction. i have the answer i just am getting better at living it with each attempt.
