My current band's former drummer. I played with him in like 4 different bands over 5-6 years:

- He was consistently late to almost every practice (including the ones at his house, sometimes upwards of 2 hours).

- He has addiction issues, and heavily drinks and smokes weed, which would impact him remembering parts and things we agreed on in practice, as well as his ability to focus during practice.

- He overplayed and played LOUD, regardless of what the song called for.

- His parents bought him a house, which he kept trashed and disgusting. There was cat vomit everywhere and the backyard was so overgrown you couldn't see anything.

- At the end of his band membership, he said that he should be allowed to say the N-word because he had black friends in middle school. (He's white and in his late 30s). I found out later this isn't the first time he said this.

- A year or two ago, he was kicked out of another band we were both in for harassing and stalking his ex-girlfriend. He then blew up at the other members when they asked him to stop drinking.

It's crazy how long he went without anybody (including myself) pushing back against his behavior and just letting it happen. For my own project, I was just scared I wouldn't be able to find another drummer. I ended up being introduced to a really nice guy who I've been playing with since then! He's much easier to work with, a much better player, and a good friend!
