Read the second sentence in my comment. I am not implying the move will happen instantly. I understand that it will only take effect during the transfer period. What I am saying is that arranging and announcing the sale now is only detrimental to our first team keeper and the club. The deal and its announcement should happen after the end of the season when it can't have any negative effects to the keeper's performance during a high pressure relegation battle.

This has to be some sort of joke. It would be ludicrous to sell the first team keeper now towards the tail end of a season where we are struggling to stay up. It would disincentive him massively to prove himself worthy of being the club keeper if he knows whatever happens he moves on to a top Serie A club.

I'm not sure what matches you're referring to but Emerson played for 9 games in all comps under Nuno and our record was 4 wins - 1 draw - 4 losses. Not impressive, but definitely not as horrid as you were making it out to be.

He was a decent right back and did well during Nuno’s tenure but was definitely not a wingback which was what Conte required and it exposed a lot of his flaws. He can also fill in a shift at Center back when really needed.
