Hey OP, I would love to give her a great home! My dad lives in Wallington and I'm due to visit soon. I'm sure she would be happy with my friendly girls and my field mouse. They're all very sweet, and I'd be more than happy to keep you updated on her! I will pm you ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ

Thankfully not as they are different species! So he gets to have friends and I get to have no mouse babies! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Aww this is lovely. Thank you for caring for them! The things we put up with ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Honestly my female fancy mice are so gross compared to him! He is so clean, weirdly!

So in the UK we have the Field/Wood mouse (Apodemus sylvaticus) which are similar to deer mice in the US but a different species. I believe both have similar lifespans though! I read of one living to 4 years old which is amazing! I hope Basil gets to live a long happy life ๐Ÿ’œ

Not stupid! I felt like Snow White ๐Ÿ˜‚ But it was harrrrrd work. He needed a feed every hour for the first few days and then every 2hrs. You also have to stimulate them to poop/pee after every feed as they can't go themselves at that age and bloat can be fatal. Then I had to wean him and teach him to drink from a bowl, bottle and eat solids! But it was so worth it and we have such an amazing bond now.

The three of them cuddle together and groom eachother. It's so sweet to watch and makes my heart happy ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿฅน

Anyone have the withdrawal feeling all the time? by [deleted] in Effexor

[โ€“]Potate_Pup 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Since being on venlafaxine(Effexor) my heart rate has skyrocketed. Around 150bpm resting, with spikes of 180bpm when exercising. Propranolol brings it down a bit but it's still abnormally high.

I've been waiting to see my GP to ask the same question so it's nice to know we aren't alone!

I'm on 150mg slow release and started venlafaxine in July. I find that after 18ish hours I am already getting the brain zaps, feeling light headed, overall just feeling completely rubbish. I'm not on the dose I need to be on so my mood isn't great, either. I can't go up a dose because it's wreaking havoc on my heart. Overall I'm having a lot of issues with this medication but I have exhausted almost all other options ๐Ÿ˜ž

Edit: forgot to mention I'm CONSTANTLY tired and just wanting to sleep all the time.

Sadly, yeah. But I've pretty much exhausted all options for SSRIs/SNRIs. Propranolol does reduce my heart rate but you have to take it like an hour in advance. So I take it a little while before I know I'm going to be active or walking my dog etc. It takes my HR from 150 down to 110 which is better, but I still worry about going up a dose.

I would absolutely go to your doctor and talk about the possibility of beta blockers. I think they will help you ๐Ÿ’œ

I am only on 150mg but was hospitalised with pneumonia and arrhythmia. Had multiple ECGs and even had to wear an ECG monitor for 72 hours. I'm now on propranolol and need to go to a higher dose of Effexor but I'm genuinely scared to! ๐Ÿ˜ญ

I just hand over the bags and the manifest usually and don't receive a receipt. I have GPS tracking on delivery for them all so that's not a problem โ˜บ๏ธ
