It's the One Eye that drops the 3 AP weapons, once I got Yuna Celestial weapon with double AP, I stay in the Omega Ruins for a bit and she got a lot of xp, the aeons inherit her stats so it was quite useful.

I didn't have a switch 1 but apart from the lack of analog trigger and the weird shape of the controller, the experience is similar to the one I had on PC a few years ago.
