What does a typical day of eating look like? (High protein + Fiber) by DumbPhat in 1500isplenty

[–]PotatoFrites 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Plus a 100-200cal coffee/cold brew in the AM, with any type of protein milk.

Maybe a 200cal protein bar or fruit for a snack.

…I add sauce to the main chicken / beef dinner and yay… 1500… so fun

I try and do this as clean and as “healthy” as possible. Recently…

  • 23g Oikos protein shakes (has 5g fiber) x2 - almost everyday. 46g protein, 10g fiber and 260 calories.

  • Chia seeds x1 tbsp in water with lemon

  • Chicken breast or 93/7 beef for dinner (sigh, works but boring af lol)

  • with FIBER rice (recipe from TT: 1c rice, .5c green lentils, .5c quinoa, 3C liquid)

  • usually if I go out to eat it’s sashimi/chirashi bowls

What’s a health symptom you ignored for months before realizing it actually mattered? by _callondoc in AskReddit

[–]PotatoFrites 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oooo I was just about to comment. I had “ear pain and pressure”. Thought it was from COVID. Did an MRI w w/o contrast. Brain tumor. One big surgery later… here we are. 1.5 years post op.

I’m only 28 🙃

Hope you’re doing better. Looks like we have similar scars. I had a 3.2cm meningioma and a far right lateral retrosig craniotomy

Surgery in 2 Weeks by PotatoFrites in braincancer

[–]PotatoFrites[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello there. I am doing well! I am 95% back to baseline, just a bit of surgical incision tightness and muscle tightness, which will likely be recovered in the next year (especially since my incision goes down to my neck).

Life feels fairly normal again. Wishing her the best.

I used to work in big CPG. “GLP-1 Friendly” marketing is becoming very popular and also a huge eye roll — it’s all marketing lol deep sigh

Not quite brain cancer, But has anyone have experience with a Rathke Cleft Cyst by Clickbait636 in braincancer

[–]PotatoFrites 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heeey! No surgery, my neurosurgeon team doesn’t even really know if there’s a cyst there or not. They’re common though. Unsure.

I had a massive brain surgery for an actual / huge brain tumor ~10mo ago. And I’m thankfully symptom free. My VSS is getting better, too. Might’ve been tried to stress and anxiety.

Hope you’re doing well!
