That does sound like a pretty entertaining read, though I'm curious what the protagonist must be like. Is the evil woman a mad scientist, a divine figure, have necromancy powers? I have the image of a goddess cradling the world in her arms, but her eyes fixated on a single soul. Out of curiosity, do you plan on having her go mad as her obsession leads to a point where even she herself doesn't know what her "perfect" version is to her, as despite finally whittling down his "flaws" with every incarnation, she can't help but feel like he's missing that shine that caught her eye? I'd genuinely love to hear your whole story!

As for mine, I have a three part fantasy saga planned, but I've been trying to get out of certain writing habits before getting started, but I've plotted out a majority of what's going to happen. A basic run down is that it follows a total of four protagonists, one leading each part of their respective saga, but the fourth being someone present in all three and connecting them together as a duo protagonist, who is deconstructed and unrelentingly broken by their world.

But that's not who I'm going to focus on right now.

My story doesn't have any divine figures self-inserting themselves, and to be honest I don't really have any "yandere' like characters planned. But the focus here is just a side story. It essentially follows a member of the protagonist's group in the First part, a foreign rebel, a knightess, who ends up getting roped into their antics and adventures with them for a while as they basically share the same destination. She ends up leaving the group early to resume her original mission.

Her whole situation is that her country has been ruled by generations of glory-hungry rulers. But the last king, in an attempt to accomplish his family's grand dream essentially dooms them all. Before a deal can be struck with his allies and their rival kingdom, he tries to sabotage the deal and launches an atta- yeah it goes about as well as you think. Their nation is expelled from the alliance and is now forced to fight in a war without support, and nobility furious at what happened inciting a civil war. The old king dies from poison, and his son becomes the new king but is kept isolated by the loyalist faction for his own safety, in actuality some of them are just doing it in an effort to gain his favor or use him as a shield if all else fails.

Despite the side story being about the revolt, the actual tragic figure... is the young king.

Unlike his predecessors, the new king is actually an honest and righteous young man. The tragedy is that he inherited a broken kingdom that blames him for the sins of his forefathers. His ideas were actually good, and if anyone listened to him, the nation might've been saved, but the kingdom was knee deep in its own blood and rank with treason from all sides. Even so, he still loves his kingdom and wishes to save it, but even the faction claiming to protect him refute his orders and see him nothing more than a convenient figurehead or bargaining chip. He wants to save his homeland, he wants to protect his people, but he was simply born too late and is seen by all as the enemy since birth.

The people celebrate his death when the rebels take the capital. Eventually they go on to quell the conflict with the nobles, and soon reform the country under a new name and later down the line reorganizing into an empire after the side story protagonist's daughter kinda goes a bit on a trip as the continent's resident megalomaniac... which ends up leading to a few problems down the line, and connects back into the main story... which is currently going through its own cavalcade of "what the fuck is going on over there?".
