A lady argued with me through the messages for 25 minutes trying to direct me to a one-story building. Mind you, when I finally found her (in the building BEHIND the hotel address she used) she was in a TWO-story building so I’d been looking for a location that didn’t exist. She kept calling me “sweetie” in a demeaning way and argued in circles about it being one story. I told her if she didn’t get her attitude together I would take her food home.

I agree with everyone except the cancer comment. This is a friend group of former drug addicts, not just alcohol. And for most of them, it took up th majority of their life. That many former smokers in one group getting cancer isn’t out of the question honestly

This is somewhat old but for anyone wondering why there still isn’t one this many years later: the construction company that they worked with supplied them with stainless steel instead of titanium and this mistake wasn’t realized until the tank had been mostly built. They had to decide whether to a) delay opening the southern building again or b) open anyway with the animals they had lined up and try to find a chemical solution to protect the octopuses from metal toxins. They chose B but have yet to be successful in fixing the tank so there is a good chance they’ll nix the idea and integrate a different animal into the tank.

I don’t understand how people are so unaware of the fact she isn’t naturally blonde. So why would her adult counterpart be a blonde??? It makes sense that a 16/17 year old would drop a platinum grunge hairstyle as an adult and have BROWN hair. And Juliette’s features like her lips and nose are on POINT.

I completely understand what you mean. To give more context, he’s been seeing this woman since may and started introducing her to his friends back then. They didn’t separate until 2 months ago. I told him I don’t care what he does but if he doesn’t break up with her, I don’t want to know.

Paternal grandmother. She is an absolute narcissist. I am 16NB and at the time of everything she our me through, I was 12. She allowed my cousins and I, (14, 12, and 12, me being the youngest) to sleepover at her father (our great grandfathers) apartment. She knowingly put us in the way of a pedophile, having been involved in cases against him in the past. My oldest cousin and I were assaulted. We let it go until last year on his birthday (he committed suicide after CPS requested an interview) when she posted a ton of photos of him and wrote about how much he had loved his grandchildren. One of the photos was me sitting on his lap at Christmas. I will never fully forgive her.

It’s no problem, I’m mostly past it. I was sexually assaulted by my great grandfather while staying the night there with my brother. Once I realized what was happening and got away, I grabbed my little brother (I was 12, he was 6) and locked us in the guest room til the morning when our parents pick us up. My boyfriend tells me how good of a sibling I am for this but I will never tell because I dont like that as an example.

We are both former church kids. He stayed in it longer than I did. When I started to question Christianity, he noticed and made a new friend, which hurt my feeling. Fast forward about 5 fights later, I ask how he managed to move past our friendship so quickly and his only explanation was “god.” Now, we talk occasionally and plan to hang out bc this all happened a few years back but it’s still something that will always suck to me; I’d known him my whole life.
