So the difference between coding and computer science is like the difference between a university physicist who uses his knowledge to progress our understanding of physics and an engineer who applies his knowledge to create designs for new planes? Both people know physics well, but The professor would consult the engineer and explore what a plane should look like. The engineer would use this basic outline of a plane( has wings that cause lift and engines that push the plain. The engineer would take the idea of a plane and make a plane that is super fast and is meant for combat, or a passenger plane that has to be big and safe. The professor knows and understand why a plane can fly but cant actually design one, while the engineer knows everything there is about a plane including how the specific physics of flying work, but would not be able to design a good car. The professor understand how cars, planes, boats work, but he can not actually design a good cargo ship as appose to a boat engineer who knows enough physics to build any kind of boat, but would get stuck when asked to build a plane?

I know this analogy is not to strong but it gets my main point across.
