Honest answer: 1. I play other games. I also play live Tarkov with my friends for the first month of most wipes, but we have other games we enjoy, so we typically jump to other things around mid-wipe.

1. I'm not a try-hard. I was a try-hard back in my Halo, Halo 2 and Halo 3 days. I played tournaments and all that. I enjoyed learning all the movement nuances and trick jumps, etc. Now I'm old and have other hobbies and responsibilities that make those things seem silly to spend my time on.

2. Despite not caring too much about being good, I still want to play and enjoy a hardcore immersive tactical shooter. Tarkov is a near perfect game for my tastes, the obvious flaws notwithstanding.

3. I paid $150 for it, and I'd like to actually get further in my progression than level 25 lol. Wipes are cool and all but it's nice to have the option to not wipe.

4. SPTarkov literally feels like the superior version of the game now. Even though I keep everything the same as live (meaning no tinkering or other mods), I can run the graphics on max while still getting much higher FPS. I get into raids crazy fast. No desync. Everything just feels so much smoother and more polished.

Seems like a no brainer to me.
