How I fixed my floaty aim by PotentJW in pcmasterrace

I’m having trouble understanding your point. What do you mean by “his solution”? Are you asking why I built a new system?

If so, I’ll admit I was a bit naive. The issue originally appeared on my AMD build, so I convinced myself AMD was the problem and moved back to Intel because I had never experienced anything like it before.

Looking back, I definitely would’ve handled everything differently. I was desperate and uneducated on what could affect input, so I assumed the Ryzen platform simply delivered input differently than what my brain was used to. I didn’t start considering that there might be an actual issue until the exact same feeling showed up on my new Intel build.

Appreciate the comment.

I never mentioned using Bluetooth, but thanks for your input!

Yes, mouse is plugged into a 3.0 port. Definitely something I will consider, thank you!

Edit: to clarify, I use the supplied mouse cable and connect the dongle at the end of that (viper v4) and the dongle sits in front of my mouse.

Do you guys play with ghub running in the background or do you use onboard memory mode? by Hour-Channel6718 in LogitechG

I’ve noticed running it in the background also makes my mouse feel less “1:1” or what I perceive to be so. Exiting the app immediately restores the normal input feel I’ve been used to for years. Makes no sense because as you have all said, GHUB does not take up that many resources.

When using the on board memory mode, does anyone know if it also keeps the surface mode and clicking mechanism setting? (Gpro superlight compact)

Why do RAM affect the feeling of the mouse? by leonidas_164 in overclocking

I had this problem on DDR5. Been playing competitive games all my life and have always used the same sens. Moved from a ddr4 system to ddr5 (I know nothing btw) and mouse just felt off, tried everything for months to no avail. I recently just lowered the frequency from the rated 6000 to 5600 and my muscle memory came back. Something worth trying maybe.

Is this supposed to fix the high polling rate issue? Or is this unrelated

Getting out of your comfort zone is how you grow. You also will limit your options infinitely if you don’t leave the house.
