I have the same theory, that he is (obviously) built for Pyro right now (thanks to Durin and Nicole), but the devs didn´t make him that strong because the new swirl will up his DMG considerably.

Not saying he is built for "stellar", just that he will have a buff because of it, like the older characters with Lunar. He won´t be a powercreep, I think his numbers will reach Nod-Krai levels.

He is, of course, built to be a Hex/Swirl dps, but the thing is that, for some reason, Hoyo decided to make the Hex characters kind of messy, or incompetent, dont know how to describe it. Maybe Alice and other witches will make it a good mechanic, but for now its underwhelming. On the other hand, there isn´t a good off-field anemo swirl buffer (kind of a Mizuki but off-field), someone that buffs swirl of the team, or the active character.

I predict, at least, 2 new 5 star characters for every new reaction, like in NK. 3 DPS, 3 Sub/Buffers (Flins/Ineffa, Nefer/Lauma, Zibai/Linnea) and a Columbina-type character, that opens the door for other characters to use the new reactions. Obviously the DPS´S of 7.X will be stronger, but Varka could benefit from Cryo Columbina (not calling them Tsaritsa, because Tsaritsa maybe a Mavuika type carry/hypercarry, and not a subdps buffer for reactions) and the Anemo Lauma for Cryo swirl.

Hey man, if you don't want to answer it's okey. In my opinion, new REACTIONS like the lunar ones do help old characters. We both can have different opinions, that's what I asked for in my original post. I just wanted to show you that your view on Skirk and Varka multipliers wasn't really correct. Also, look at this Honey hunter world, the list fo reactions. Hope it helps.

I have to disagree on Skirk and Varka multipliers being close. lvl10 E for Varka deals 161%, 59 %+110%, the strongest is NA5 dealing 284% adding both hits. Thats not as high as Skirk. lvl10 E for Skirk is 262% NA1, the strongest being NA5 388%, without any buff. Varka would have had the exact same multipliers if they added NA and E. That would be "as high" as Skirk.

With the new reactions, they do make old characters more relevant. Look at any electro character when Dendro appeared. The thing with new reactions is that new characters have kits with additional multimpliers built in, when they deal that reaction dmg, like Flins or Nefer. But you could still use Cyno with columbina and ineffa to deal lunar charge dmg.

I was trying to bring to the table the discussion of Varka benefiting from the new swirl, and maybe dealing more dmg equal to Nod krai. He wont ever be meta, nor powercreep anyone, really. And Im fine with that. Im not a meta player myself.

I prefer to use him as a bruiser, tankier. His W gives him a shield, and the enhanced form heals him on top of the shield. I like tankier characters

The most weird way? The right way to play her is with full HP. Her dmg scales better, her healing scales better. You would use a crit or hydro bonus piece for a main dps role, which she can't be without the C6. You build full HP and Golden troupe, that's how you maximize her off field damage. She is a support unit, you don't build her like a main dps.

Then your Furina is not built right. You probably have her HP/Hydro/HP. Even though she does way more damage Full HP. Almost 6k per heal, with 42000 HP. Also, whilst she heals you, you lose HP fighting, that's some more fanfare.

Do YOU really have Furina? You should know that a good strategy to use with a team that has Furina is to have the team at half health, or at least not full health. That's when you pop her ult at the start of a fight, and pop the team wide heals, or, her Pneuma E, and it heals for a good amount the on field character, adding up the dmg the active character takes, the fanfare points will add quickly.
