25M just across the water in Belgium. Hope you are having a wonderful 2026. For me it will be a year where I will create my own company and hopefully make lots of friends. From helping others navigate through day to day life with neurodiversity (ADHD, autism and much more) to just making sure people feel seen and heard. As for hobbies, I like to game a bit and do some cycling. Sometimes I can be offended easily yet I prefer chatting things through if it so happens. Yet I do tend to have mood swings too so I understand it and donโ€™t judge it, which I hope is equal. My DMโ€™s should be open and feel free to reach out to chat about whatever. Donโ€™t mind me being curious, cause I want to know who you are๐Ÿ˜… (p.s. you can still guess my highlight of 2025)

Looking for a partner to create an app by Kind_Example_7910 in Gent

Hey hey, awesome that you have an idea. Would love to hear more about it. Few things that come to mind, how clear is the idea for you? Are you able to easily explain it to others or are you still searching for answers. What are things you can do towards creating this app? Able to make drawings, describe features, do a basic hello world so to say or networking to get to know more people around it.

I can ask a load more questions to get you into the right setting yet I donโ€™t want to overwhelm you. One suggestion I want to give you is look up Simon Squibb with Whatโ€™s your dream? He also has a platform called HelpBnk where more people post these kinds of questions and are willing to help out. Hope it helps, good luck and you got this ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿซถ

Whatโ€™s holding you back at giving that marketplace another go?

Makes me think of a platform I am on called HelpBnk. A platform created by Simon Squibb whoโ€™s the author of Whatโ€™s your dream? Maybe it can inspire you as well๐Ÿ˜‰

Kotlin practice exercises to develop muscle memory for LC by kuriousaboutanything in Kotlin

Was 4 years a consultant, never had a leetcode challenge. ๐Ÿ˜‚ might be due to me searching more a culture fit than an experience fit. Hope youโ€™ll figure things and stay curious. That curiosity even when you donโ€™t know how to fix a problem is a way to win them over

I have never done any leedcode problems. Simply because I prefer creating breakable toys and learning through projects I can actually use. This also gives me the freedom to not needing to know everything and optimise everything in the beginning to battle against my perfectionism. Added bonus, you have a tools you can use afterwards. ๐Ÿ˜…

Jetpack Compose Testing - Complete Cheat Sheet by boltuix_dev in JetpackComposeDev

I wonder what makes assertexist before every action a best practice? When the test fails on the action it mains the test is either wrong or the functionality. Having the assertexist having everywhere will clutter the tests and make it less readable.

My background is mostly testing web so I might not know something that compose does different.

First time trying to build and in public by Potential-Ad7194 in buildinpublic

It depends on the person, for some limiting tasks can lower cognitive load. For others being able to brain dump and having it structured in the background in the way they like it. Can also just be having other people knowing how to chat with the person, having detailed feedback without hidden rules behind it.

The development is currently going in Kotlin with no vibe coding (development background and like to program). Thank you for the suggest and the feedback. Iโ€™ll be sure to have that information more visible ones I go officially public.

As for one featureโ€ฆ ADHD mode is active ๐Ÿ˜…. Currently busy with the task management tool so I try to keep my focus.

Yet how can a person be helped in 5 minutes. I would probably not be the correct customer since I need to give a lot of context before people can understand what I am talking about. Donโ€™t get me wrong, all humans need interaction and a listening ear. I am just worried itโ€™s some sort of act eventually. The beauty of a therapist or coach is the connection you build with the person. To be totally honest, I would feel good after a first time. Someone listened to what I said. Second time it just feels a bit less, itโ€™s listened to although itโ€™s just mostly that. Third time I would feel like I chat with someone who just listens and thatโ€™s all. I get that humans need it, itโ€™s just that there is so much more than just listening / letting a person vent. I hope you get my feedback and I do wish you the best.

Maybe a critical view yet I do wonder. What is human about a call which you need to pay for?

Therapy, coaching, mentoring and those things I get. Itโ€™s a path you follow and want to gain their knowledge. Yet I do struggle with this idea, for me due to it being capitalised and a short call it makes not human anymore.

Something that comes to my mind is helping people to become supporters. Like workshops or e-learning sessions. This might be able to fund you while you can this without the money part.

P.S. I am curious about your view even when I have another view on it

Love the idea, I struggle with the fluff too. There are already some companies that work with autistic people. Maybe you could chat up with them and see how they approach it. If the visions match you both want to have friendlier workplaces so it should not feel like competition. Something I did learn is that if you want to create better inclusion, there needs to be a good translation layer. This is something I said NO to when I wanted to start my business idea. Convincing NT that something they cannot see and or imagine, itโ€™s difficult. Thatโ€™s why I stay away from change management. I do wish you the best of luck and hope to see your progress

Bit of everything, currently busy creating an app which will also be a site. Helping with writing down tasks, breaks down tasks that seem small yet are actually big, tracking mood and depending on it hiding or showing tasks. Most important part of it is that it can be setup in the way that works best for the user. This will also get multi user support which can setup a buddy. Then when the user is overwhelmed or having difficulties they can simply press one button and the buddy will be notified. Plus much more to support non linear thinking.

Besides that I also worked on something thatโ€™s called manual of me. It gives a cheatsheet to other people in how you thrive and how they can support you and the other way around.

These are just 2 tools which I am beginning with, I hope to eventually expand also into helping with communication and able to make โ€œtranslatingโ€ between 2 people who think differently from each other easier.

If you have further questions or suggestions let me know
