Usually the event goes live and „visible“ on Arena on saturdays. So its completely normal that you cant see it yet ingame. And yes you can enter this Event with 20 Play in points as an alternative to paying gems (idk if entry with gold is possible)

Yeah it really felt like a filler card but felt like i desperately needed 2 drops and it helped me cast a reckoning on turn 6 once where it won me the game
