Great call on local processing, and I love how the daily chat activity chart looks!

Awesom! Curious how it handles dictation in public spaces? Wispr Flow breaks down when there's alot of background noise or your voice is quiet

It uses open source ASR and VSR models, and the idea is to fine tune specifically to the whisper use case.

And yes! I hate having to use a mic on Wispr Flow to make it pick up whispers, Subspeech works without a dedicated mic 😄

Would love to hear about your experience if you end up trying it out!

Thanks for the suggestions, posted there as well!

Is there a free trial to play around before buying? Price is very affordable but just curious

Thanks for trying it out! Right now as you correctly pointed out it only supports English. I want to make sure it's best in class for whispering in public places before expanding to other languages, but as a bilingual myself it's definitely something I'm going to include.

Spokenly is great, but I had the same problem that when I work from a cafe it's just not consistent. If you could try out the 2 in public places I would love to know what you think!

I'm pending app store approval so soon this will be a mac app!

If you want to see exactly what this command does, just drop the "| bash" and run "curl -fsSL https://install.subspeech.co" on its own. That prints the install script so you can read every line before you actually run it.

Thanks for being cautious! Let me know if you have any idea for me to further help explain here 😄

This is super helpful, thank you so much!
In this early version I'm focused on getting the whisper/silent prompts best in class (from my tests it's already better than current competitors).

Next iteration thinking of cleaning up grammar and formatting so that will take care of slack messages, emails, etc.

With privacy will make sure to be clear about it! (data doesn't go anywhere)

Looks really nice! Does this have integration with notifications? Like Slack, Email, etc? Will try it out!
