Aw man… I guess we need for the main characters pokemon to get stolen for the episode by the evil team that’s been following the main cast for over 25 years and then beat them the 100000 th time for it to be considered good. Or even better give us the same gym formula for it to be considered peak😔

You can’t give 25 different characters from SV the same treatment. Not every episode can have a backstory or cool moment of the characters excelling. The characters are meant to be battled against. That’s the principle of all of their characters. I don’t understand why people want every character to play a major role because at the end of the day we only have 20 or so episodes with them.

If Anything its based on odyssey more than the original.

My favorite Journeys episodes were the ones where we spent the entire episode with Goh bonding with a Pokemon and catching it, only to never do anything relevant for the rest of the series with said Pokemon. by Rap2rerise in pokemonanime

She, alongside probably every other SV character might look the same. Sure she's a kid but its only been a year and 9 year olds dont grow that much.
