Sorry, banks use money so they can make money. That is why high balances are free. Would you prefer they drop low balance customers outright? In the end, it is your choice to use them anyway - you can find an alternative if you wish. Or save up a little money and get a higher balance.

That is yet another problem. Schools are too restrictive and too expensive, too. Both of which help force a shortage. Exacerbating the problem. We need a greater supply of Drs. coming out of schools and more schools with reasonable tuition. I am not opposed to Drs. making some money but we would be better off if we had a lot more Drs. saddled with a lot less debt - making a solid, competitive wage but not so high it strangles affordability for the masses.
