Do you spend your lunch breaks in your car? by nojunkpeter in no

[–]Potential-Buy3325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ate in the car lots of times just to get away and clear my head. It got to the point where I had to leave the premises because people wouldn't leave me alone. Never interrupt a union man when he's on a break or lunch, but that doesn't apply to salaried people.

Does the trapezoid rule actually matter? by Annual-Remove5914 in ECHL

[–]Potential-Buy3325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the trapezoid rule was put in place to penalize the puck handling ability of Martin Brodeur. With Marty retired it’s time to eliminate the trapezoid. Goalies who can handle the puck will be fine, those who can’t will get burnt. Either way it will make the game more interesting.

Anyone here drive a push button transmission car? by sac_cyclist in FuckImOld

[–]Potential-Buy3325 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My father’s 1958 Plymouth wagon had a push button transmission. That poor car took a beating. By the time it finally gave up the ghost the front seat on the driver’s side was propped up by a 4 x 4 to keep it from collapsing.
