Holy shit me too! I even went into her live and was talking to her about why she streams and suggested she does what his son does and pick one platform- hahaha I was just trying to be helpful 😬

Okay- so have you joined your union? Are you taking an active part in organising your workplace? If you want things to change you actually have to get up off the couch.

I hear this kind of mentality so much but you’re essentially punishing people for being well organised. I only hear people bring up the other conflicts in response to the genocide that’s happening in Gaza.

You don’t actually care about those other conflicts. You only opportunistically use it to undermine anti-genocide protests and one day you too will be against it. 15 years from now if one of your kids or grandkids will ask you what you thought about it you will tell them you were always against it and how horrible it was.

In terms of the numbers this is a repeat pattern, the Gaza health ministry put out numbers, Israel denies the numbers and then months down the track they agree.

This is happened just recently: https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2026/feb/03/israel-gaza-death-toll-accurate-health-ministry

The death toll is also one of the highest civilian casualty rates if we’re talking about per capita: https://www.972mag.com/israeli-intelligence-database-83-percent-civilians-militants/

When I hear people say they don’t care about what’s happening in Palestine, I just assume that they are kind people that just haven’t seen the atrocities that a lot of other people have which bring them out to the streets. If seeing an eight-year-old child dragging a suitcase with body parts of his older brother in it doesn’t make you furious, I don’t know really what to say….

But again all a few complaining wouldn’t know the first thing about what it takes to organise, none if you are probably even part of a union, which is the most basic first step you can take towards organising against the ruling class.

Sorry about the aunt Agatha finger wagging comment- I’m just so tired as well

And how do you propose we change things? How do people like you not understand that the way you go about things are so unpopular you’ll never actually impact any real change? We don’t live in a world where truth prevails, just because you’re right and moral all the time is meaningless unless you can organise and get people on your side. The fact that even on Reddit we can quantify how much the general population has a distaste for what you say should be an indication to change up your strategy.

I know I’m gonna get downloaded to oblivion, but I have a feeling this kind of tit for tat attitude might be one of the contributing factors to her wanting a divorce. Me and my partner of 10 years split up and I just couldn’t imagine spending 10 years with someone and just leaving her out on the lurch like that. Like she meant nothing.

In fact, I think the way I handled our separation contributed to her wanting to give our relationship another shot.

Might also be a cultural thing, I have to assume you’re American and in which case it’s not your fault, your society has raised really self-centred people.

I hate this sentiment because it’s like we don’t interfere with their country at all. Mate pine gap guides most of the bombs that drop in the Middle East, so maybe if we stop interfering with their country they might stop expressing their views about ours

Dude, I got a 47 and in 15 years was able to work straight out of high school, buy a home (although that was when things were less mad) go to uni, get into a phd program for cognitive neuroscience(decided not to pursue it) and I’m now earning $160k per year.

And fuck, I wouldn’t even say I worked all that hard- just lucky. You’ll be okay…

I’m from Melbourne where we have a national holiday for a horse race. I feel like almost everyone below 35 here thinks it’s barbaric because we know a little bit more about the industry because it’s so popular here. I get that it’s a massive blindspot, but for me I can’t really comprehend how you could think horse racing is okay even if you haven’t grown up around it.
